Re: 2012 Player/s X v Player/s Y

Got Pendles, Ablett, Murphy and Selwood. Need a 5th premium.

Boyd, Thompson, Stanton, Watson, Kennedy, Swan.. which one?

The best I can do is exclude 1. Boyd is good, but not as good at the moment.

Thompson is on fire becuase Sloane and Danger have taken the pressure off him in the midfield.

Stanton will dominate, but has shown he can be tagged out of the game.

Watson is in the same boat as thompson, he is relishing the fact other players are starting to pull more weight around the packs.

Kennedy is a clearance machine, he gets his own ball and is using it well, plus he has starting kicking more goals. With Goodes out the bulk of the midfield pressure will fall on him, so he may drop off. Although considering the type of player he is, he may just step up to the plate.

Swan is a superstar, he is consistent and reliable. he has proven himself for years now. Cant argue against his record.

Who would you put on the field? Giles or Kruezer?

Giles has been scoring well against AFL quality rucks. This week he's up against an 18 year old kid who's played three games, and a fullback. I wouldn't just put him on the field, I'd be tempted to make him captain.

Re: 2012 Player/s X v Player/s Y

Go Ablet if it's your last midfield spot otherwise get Thompson and wait for Ablett to drop (slightly).

My Question...
Should I upgrade Porps and Christensen
to Sidebum and Zaha
or Beams and Lewis ??

Christensen has a calf injury listed as TBA what ever that means or how ever long that means.

Zorko because you already have Milera, but I'm still pretty keen on waiting on Zorko for one more week. Saad will get games for at least the next three with Schniderman having a setback with his hammy.

My choices are:

Shaw and Saad + 36k

Waters and Saad + 100k

Lewis and Spurr +62k

Or any combination of these three rookie/premium picks.

Also could just go straight to Hurn 1 trade rather than 2.

Cheers!!!

^

I'm going for Spurr. Looks the goods to me, should hold his spot for a while I reckon.

Scott Thompson, Jobe Watson (+$25k), or Sam Mitchell (+$100k).

Start Spurr or Smedts?
I hope you went with Spurr. :(

With lack of quality forwards I'm looking to take a punt on one of the old hounds at F7, both are currently at bargain prices.

Ryan O'Keefe - 446k (-110k) | BE 102
He's averaging 77 which includes a 22 (substitute) and looks to be finding his feet with half decent scores.

Boomer Harvey - 430k (-117k) | BE 122
His biggest score of 137 came against the GWS, with only one other score over 100. He's averaging a decent 87 which includes a 41. Taking Boomer would also save me from a round 12 donut.

I keep wanting rok but just cannot go thru with it...but reckon its a real chance to happen

Re: 2012 Player/s X v Player/s Y

Best of the budget mids.
NDS V pridis V cotchin V scotty selwood V murphy V sammy mitchell V ???

These guys are in the markdown bin starting at 500k to around 550k which one would you buy?

Murphy and NDS are proven performers. Murphy has only had 2 down weeks and I would expect him to bounce back.

Priddis is extremely consistent at scoring between 100-120 but rarely pumps out 140+ scores.

I would group Mitchell, S Selwood and Cotchin together as solid but not great scorers. I can't see them rising above low-mid 600k.

Darley and Chapman

Vs.

Zorko and Zaha

Trades to do it:
Bugg > Darley
Aaron Hall > Chapman

Shiel > Zorko
Aaron Hall > Zaha

I'd go Zorko and Zaha, and then bring in Darley next week.
