Is this a serious prediction...

Deadly serious. Ever remember 06 - 07? And the boys could have easily finished 6th in 2011. Injuries, suspensions, bad umpiring and one of if the most inaccurate teams in the league cost us dearly. Nearly defeated St. Kilda, Sydney, Carlton, West Coast and Hawthorn against the odds.

If we finish on top with our draw, it would be a miracle.

no it isn't, it was analysed in great depth on the age website and showed that next year there were 4 teams with easier draws

Got a link? Don't see how that is possible, Ess, WB, WC, GWS and GC twice, easily the softest draw of teams twice. WC at Paterson's is probably the only definite loss. Could come away with 7-9 wins, from that.

Adelaide play GWS, Gold Coast, Port Adelaide, Fremantle and Geelong twice. Easily just as 'soft' as North. For the record, I don't think North have the easiest draw, but I reckon they're a good chance of making the eight.

Still bitter over 2004... Anyway your placement of Port is likely 1 too low but at least i'm being realistic. You on the other hand stating Brisbane to finish 7th is laughable, try at least 7 spots lower.

Maybe I simply should have put "No comment on a joke of a post"...

Port, from a neutral perspective, will struggle to even stay in the competition for much longer. Too many offield setbacks. Laughable list.
No stars. Lagging supporters.
They might beat the newbies. Maybe even a battered crow outfit in a showdown. But that will be all I think.

Everyone is going to be at least slightly biased towards their team, live with it. You wouldn't have posted that if he predicted the Bombers would make the 8.

It's just a prediction don't see why people get so upset about all of this.

Pretty sure it is the easiest draw in the history of AFL.

Pretty sure you're wrong.

Here's my attempt.

1. Collingwood - Will be hungry and new coach.
2. Carlton - Been threatening for 2years now, they could be ready.
3. Geelong - Still a quality list and do have some good kids
4. Essendon -My roughie for top 4, have the best young spine. Big watch.
5. Hawthorn - Up and down from year to year, have the talent.
6. West Coast - Big reliance on Cox, Kerr and Glass. Can they do it again?
7. Swans - Just too competative and proud to dismiss
8. North - Good draw and hopefully an injury free pre-season

9. Fremantle - Still adjusting to Lyons gameplan but will improve.
10. Adelaide - I like Sanderson, they have good kids, they're coming
11. Richmond - Just lack depth but have fantastic top end talent.
12. Melbourne - I just don't know what to make of the Dees.
13. Western Bulldogs - Rebuilding and have some good kids.
14. St Kilda - End of the road for the saints. Rebuild needed.
15. Brisbane - Still a few years away but have good kids
16. Gold Coast - Will start showing real improvement.
17. Port - Feel for the club, nothing is going right.
18. GWS - Obvious.

....
I can understand people putting essendon outside the top 8, thats fair due to our inability to beat lower teams
but Rockliff, roughie for brownlow as well as brown roughie for coleman as well as brisbane in the top 8 seems a but biased to me
