Daniher and Wines too high. Both always injured

Good list, I'd go:
1. Grundy
2. Whitfield
3. Macrae
4. Daniher
5. Stringer (under rated IMO)
6. Wines
7. Vlastuin
8. Hunter
9. Viney
10. Plowman

very harsh....

Wines has been averaging 25 disposals a game since 2014

what’s he doing with those 25 disposals?

it’s all good to look at the stat sheet but in the end if you watch him he’s a poor user of the ball and IMO seriously unfit that gets exposed on the field. He simply doesn’t move well. Averages less than three quarters of the game on the ground.

His own club sacked him as captain after one season too.

Gonna put it out there.

I'm taking Macrae before Whitfiled in a redraft. Not by much, but still doing it. Was a good player as soon as he debuted and finds himself as a elite player with plenty of time left to win a Brownlow and another premiership medal.

Whitfiled is fantastic but couldn't match Macraes output if you compare their first 5 seasons.

1. Grundy

3. Macrae
4. Vlastuin
5. Z Williams
6. Rampe
7. Daniher
8. Wines
9. Viney
10. Stringer
11. Lloyd
12. Membrey
13. Jonas

Hot take, but I don't have Daniher in my top 10 purely because of his OP. Can be career ending, and it's not clear whether he will ever return to his best. If he does, he enters discussion for the number 1 spot along with Grundy, Macrae and Whitfield.

Also feel some people are really underrating Membrey. Maybe it's the fact he plays for a small club that doesn't get a huge amount of media coverage, but he really shouldn't be so far down in some of these ratings

Unless things change from now to end, Grundy, Whitfield and Macrae can't be toppled.

Vlastuin and Rampe seem like the only worthy challengers to the big 3 but even then it's not fair to rank Rampe that high because he's older than them by 4 years.

A smokie for the top 10 is Corr.

A fit and firing Daniher easily challenges the top 3.

Vlastuin 10th?

Shows how underrated he truly is

A fit and firing Daniher can also be mentally off his game too.

I find Daniher to be a frustrating player to watch so my frustrations watching Joe play hamper my ability to rate him highly.
