But Garlett will be gone one would think before our pick.

McCarthy (RIP) was training with Richmond, port had milera training with them before the crows took him etc

Safe bet colquhoun will be at port but if you guys are going to have a list spot available from Tippett then just take garlett in the PSD and don't give the bombers a chance to wait until the rookie draft

Joyce can go on as a rookie

Garlett will probably go to Essendon. Rioli, Tipungwuti and Irra would all be players I would be looking at with #16 (that is if we're still allowed to participate in the rookie draft).

Partly, but he actually got delisted in the end. He wanted a trade to a victorian club, but nothing eventuated. I'm sure he'd go anywhere now, after every single club passed on him in the draft.

I know we picked up a KPD and outside midf, but i think it would be a good idea to pick a ready made mature KPD or crumbing forward.
What does Liddle from South have to do to get on a rookie list?

Faith have Dowdell as well and his ruckwork by stats is ok

I agree though a mature KPD is neccessary as a backup ....but gee I'd like to rookie Irra

Totally with you re Toy.

He has done slightly less than fk-all in his 2 years with the Gold Coast - when he can actually get a game.

I know he had this big rep as a junior, but seriously he has blown that to the schaisenhausen since then. Do not want.

This is the spot for a real gamble IMO, someone in the mould of a Garlett. Someone with talent to burn but an attitude that needs ironing out.

Big risk, but big reward if the gamble comes off.

Seems crazy that we wouldn't consider him. Seems EXACTLY like the player we need.

Seriously though, he's only a kid. Change his environment, add some real discipline and support him as a club as well as supplying one the greatest indigenous players in history to mentor him.

The upside is just huge.

I'd make him my priority in the remaining drafts.

I doubt adelaide would go down that track.
Colq would of been nice, but seems like he will go PSD.
