Do you really trust any GWS player not to be rested every 2nd week?

I could see the appeal of GWS players when you just wanted a cash cow that played 2/3s of the game for the season, but now it is not about cash cows but having a guy who plays every week for backup.

normally agree but Miles has only played 2 games and GWS apparently rate him very highly and will want game time into him, anyway thats my thoughts/hope etc etc

Who has they best JOB SECURITY and is likely to play all or most games for the run home out of this new crop?

Anthony Miles
Steven Clifton
COuch
Baguley

Doubt any of them have job security.

With GWS players there is no such thing
Couch and Baguley only filling caps created from injuries so expect them to make way as soon as othes come back.
All might be handy as a 2nd bench option, but wouldn't want any of them being your emerg

Need to cash in 2 rookies before finals ...

Ideally 1 mid and 1 fwd.

Want to use Couch as my mid rookie creating a Fwd/Mid link, however concerned there will be no other Fwd rookies to trade in after this week.

Only others are Walker (Cats) and Bruce (GWS) but doubt either of them will hold their spots.

Any other fwd rookies likely to get a game that you know of?

Dont know much about Bruce, but Walker was tipped to play games at the start of the year, and given that our tall forwards aren't all firing or even on the park, i'd say he could see a few more games. He seems a decent prospect, so i'd hope Geelong puts some time into him. Only issue is that our run home is tough, and we may not have the luxury of giving younger plays alot of time on the ground, so he may be forced to make way for Pod's.

GWS seem to be keen on giving all their players a fair run, so Bruce should be a chance to hold his spot for a while, which will allow some of the more noted draft picks some time to recover.

All that said though, im assuming you made your choice last night, and this is now a moot point :p

Ended up going Baguley which I am happy with. Thanks.
