seen it 1st hand today nambour will win the comp. what an outfit they are credit were credit is due. what a mudpit of a ground.
They will lose one the coach will make sure of it..![]()
all bar 17 he's a fruit loop to be honest.
#51 from Nambour is a monty to win the league B&F, .
Nambour's ground is not an embarrassment - Beenleigh were the embarrassment. Yes the ground is not in pristine condition but remember this is a winter sport. Don't get confused by how grounds look watching the AFL on television. I have played and coached over a fair bit of this country and if we start calling games off because of ground conditions we will not have a sport to play. Adapt to the conditions Beenleigh - Nambour did.
Now back to the game - Beenleigh were terrible from the start. Is this the same coach who coached Beenleigh last year? If it is he has lost the players. Last year they had a structure and game plan and I believe were close to the best coached team last year regardless of where they finished. I saw a couple of players in the 2's who have the ability to play up? Number 10 is a gun and with a few better players around him (maybe out of the 2's) could drag Beenleigh out of this 4 game losing streak - calamvale will assist this next week also.
Nambour as we have come to observe are very well drilled, coached and disciplined. They certainly play for each other. I do not believe they should have kicked 20 goals in the conditions though. Beenleigh did not try anything, they just let Nambour dictate to them. No press, no flood, no zone, no nothing - this is why I suspect it is a different coach from last year.
#51 from Nambour is a monty to win the league B&F, if not I want to know who the Umpires are watching - Beenleigh #10 maybe. I saw Morro take very small steps when #51 and him were both heading for a loose ball - you were not on your own though Morro. I believe you called Nambour soft last year - go look in the mirror mate and take some of your team mates with you. Keeping your head over the ball is not soft and belting players behind play is not tough.
Well done to Nambour and I cannot wait for the Redcliffe clash in 2 weeks - will Nambour be motivated by the practice game loss? Are Redcliffe good enough to take it up to them.
I suspect I will probably cop some flak from Beenleigh for my comments - the truth usually does hurt when people are in denial.
Not here to make excuses but the way that ground was prepared was disgusting ive never seen anything like it in 15 years that ive played football should have been moved to a neutral venue. Not taking anything away from nambour they are a great team and will go all the way but for u to sit there and say everything you just said is ridiculous. We had 3 players pull out on the morning of the game and had 3 players back up. I agree nambour #51 is a gun and they are well drilled well coached and play for each other. Dont worry about the buffs we will be there at the end of the year but i cant see anyone beating nambour. class outfit

Bad call neutral observer. There aren't many people that would dispute that the nambour ground on the weekend was in terrible nick. Whether you believe the game shouldve been called off or not there is no denying that conditions don't get much worse. Beautiful sunny day for it thoughnambour look the goods, conditions aside.
goes on his honeymoon this week for a month, hard to win when missing 4 games.
Neutral does not make bad decisions hollywood. He makes neutral observations that people who are emotionally involved don't like if it is not favourable to them. I call it as I see it - sorry if that upsets some people.
Beenleigh will bounce back write us off at ur peril.
Redcliffe to miss the 5 for me big 3weeks comin up for them.
Nambour vs who in the GF. That's the question
Sorry KP I have written you off - unless you have some big ins in the comming weeks.
Nambour v Caboolture for mine. Not 100% committed on this just yet. I will let you know after Nambour v Redcliffe in 2 weeks. Coomera to be the dark horse who may be capable of upsetting anyone on their day. I must say that I am clouded by ability to see Nambour/Redcliffe and Caboolture regularly though.
Soft is one thing I've never been called NT so yeah I take that to heart. Funnily enough quite a few Nambour players actually contradicted your comment including 51 who is very good but he is no Milligan.
Also I wouldn't be pointing the finger at the coach. Our position right now sits fairly and squarely on the players shoulders for reasons not appropriate to mention on big footy.
I just asked the question - is he the same coach as last year? No one has bothered to answer that for me. All they have done is bagged my comments about the ground because my opinion differed from theirs. Again - is he the same coach you had last year?
Sorry thought you answered that yourself in a later post.
No he is not.
