Dear footy first . I've done some research for u Logan's team had 2 changes flower and Wellington in . And I noticed that peek for caboolture did not play so the teams were much the same Logan had more scoring shots but no by much so,it seems like it must have been a close game .and also I ve ready cleared my schedule for rd 7 at Logan to watch Logan vs beenliegh as I think it will a massivE game for both clubs as to getting there season on track towards the end of the first round of matches . Still haven't decided on this weekends game any tips on game of the round??? What happened to watto7????

Cheers for that! It was labelled match of the round then no-one spoke of it! Logan appear to be regaining form & players so Beenleigh will have to be on the improve also! Think I'll head over for that one also

Interesting fact I was told on the weekend...Nambour haven't gone through a season and won every game in their last 4 years. They're also going for their 5th premiership in 5 years so I've been told.

A tremendous achievement by any club.
Two home games for UQ this weekend. 3rds and 4ths face Nambour at Roosters (Many thanks to the Roosters for hosting the games). I'm very proud of how my boys and good mates in the 4ths are going. From what I heard they had a very good win against Redcliffe on the weekend.
I say Nambour by 130, but I think UQ could get closer if they just transfer their positive energy from the backline down to the forwardline so they can convert. Their first half at Redcliffe last week was really very soid. They just need to play 4 quarters like that.

Agreed! And maybe mention a game besides Nambour's! They're at UQ, Redcliffe's at Coomera so I assume we can expect Caboolture's canteen to be rated?

Coomera Redcliffe has the greatest chance of being a close one, both sides looking to cement themselves up the order. I'd like to have a look at Logan, see how this Flowers goes at full forward, a lot of talk about him, nearly as much as Morro

we have never gone thru undeafeted, and i think its good to lose a game just to get that extra motivation. last year we were going great, then got thumped by beenleigh at their home ground and also got beatin pretty easy by logan at their home ground.

I agree on the 'extra motivation' point but going through undefeated means believing & succeeding in every victory round by round, u don't want thoughts of having to have a loss kicking around. I've not played in an undefeated side but I could imagine it could heap on extra pressure to not lose just 'one game'

Apparently broke his hand in rd 1 so I believe the weekend was his first game back.
Yeah keen to hear how they fair against each other. I personally think Coomera will win easy in the end. They are a team full of fleet footed medium size payers and I think they will have too much running power. Watch for some solid clearance work from Bondy from redcliffe though. Big midfielder.
