I know 44 UQ lads will be taking this game seriously and this game counts as much as Nambour or Beenleigh's matches. Not sure why you would suggest it wouldn't be any less meaningful as some other games? All footy is good footy

calamvale ressies have forfeited which sucks for our ressies guys. does anyone know the rule concerning forfeits? i heard that if you forfeit 2 matches throughout the year then you get kicked out of the league... and they have already forfeited one reserves matches so far?

Interesting point you raise about the weather. What's everyone's thoughts about wet games? Which teams perform well in the wet? Do you think Qld councils tend to cancel games too quickly or unnecessarily?

unless Noah floats by your window tomorrow morning there is no chance of cancelations, I dont know what has happened to qld senior footy but only in the last three years has footy been cancelled. cancell kids if need be but let the men play a game in the rain, on mud.

Ha ha exactly. Too many cancellations. Victorians fall down in laughter seeing our cancelled games. Being one myself I enjoy the rain without the bitter cold!

no team has forfeited any games this year to date, the rule is if you forfeit two games your club will be asked to show cause to stay in the competition, or fall to div 4 with one team. a $ 300 fine is applied against a club forfeiting a first game. Once outside a Div it is not automatic that the ability to feild two teams means a reinstatment to the div they were previously in, as this position may be filled by another team, AKA Redbacks, Bond Uni,Strathpine or UQ 5ths and 6ths.

That is next week. My Div 2 boys have much more pressing issues rather than worrying about next week.
No disrespect IPW, but don't you worry about us and what we will do. I don't know what the club is going to do, but given the injuries we've already picked up, my guess would be we would chose AGAINST dropping players back.

ahh ok i was told at training that they had already forfeited once during the year and there is a big possibility that they wont have enough to travel up here. but lets hope they get some more numbers otherwise its a big chance they might not be in the comp next year.

Take a look at the ladder. Like Neutral Observer pointed out, perhaps the game doesn't really matter, and sending guys down to the thirds doesn't seem to have upset the galactic balance in the force, or in this case, the power of because Logan is back up there and we're once again down towards the bottom.

He has only played 1 game and I thought he kicked 10 or 11. Team sheets were amended as he was a late withdrawal so don't panic.
It seems the goals may not have been recorded accurately. Mind u he kicked them in 3/4's, went to the bench and said give someone else a go.

Numbers are an issue in this area mate, the 2 hour travel just makes it even worse.

mate I was talking about CARMA, you know the centre for Computer Assisted Research Mathematics , look it up , you dont know everything, admit it. I used their data base to work out the effect on our competition with your upset win in round one and found that in most scenarios, Logan will finish outside the 8 with any upset loss in round two.
Karma , my freind is a different matter, but is also a beautiful thing, ps, i hope i spelt everything OK.

You may not wish to comment but I have seen a few Robina games over the years, not so many lately, but I'm interested to know if they have a 'footy culture'? Are they able to keep players longterm?
