I did see this incident - it happened right in front of me about 20-30 metres in. This is why I made the comment about #15 in an earlier post. It was a blatant elbow to the face. I hope the player is OK. These type of players need to be removed from our game or they will drag us back to rugby league levels. If Caboolture don't at least chat to him about this he will possibly cause extensive damage to a player down the track. I didn't realise he was an under age player - not sure why anyone has to play juniors in the reserves. If they are good enough they should play seniors, if not with their age group. I overheard one of the Nambour Senior coaches ask a caboolture official to check the change rooms to see if #15 left his brain in there before he ran out, it was very funny, not sure the official got his point though.
Agree there is no place for this sort of thuggery in football. I go out every week to enjoy running around with mates, and have copped my fair share of late knees, elbows, fists and what ever else they decide to stoop too.
I would say 95% of players are fair and decent but you get the occasional egg ruining it for everyone.
