Pendles averaged nearly 130. Will start at $700,500 next year.

Anyone with Gold care to share what Porplyzia will start at? I've heard he isn't basement price, yet m0nty hasn't changed his price in the FanPlanner yet.

Likewise for Lenny Hayes and Jack Grimes?
Porplyzia is $229600 Grimes is $380600

Too many cash cows to chose from :(

wow. midfielders are so expensive. even the rucks are on the expensive side too. probably going to rule out porps, was going to select him for the bench, but 229k might be a bit too much for that if i'm going to have to squeeze a squad out of the top end premiums at those prices.

I think the prices might JUST be high enough to justify a couple of risky mid-priced picks as opposed to an all out premiums and rookies strategy, especially if you want to burn a few trades negotiating the bye weeks.

having said that, a few mid-price options such as brown and lake are probably premiums when injury free, so the risk is not really that great. I may even throw barlow in that category.

for sure, j.brown and lake are premiums. but i question j.browns durability, he has only managed 4 20+ seasons out of 10. lake, if his body is right leading into round 1 is a lock for me, 2011 seems like a bit of an abberation fitness wise for him. i'll probably back in tommy walsh for us to get a lot of games through out the season over porps, although, i'll have to wait and see what other options there are in the forward line first. porps could be the krak of last season and could be a decent F5/6 option initially.

Lets see how many injured, traded, coming off a bad year players you can fit in one team....

No Higgins or Rioli is an oversight.

Not really considering selecting him for my DT side but just out of curiosity as he used to be an Eagle, how do you see Mitch Morton slotting into your side? Played some good footy for Richmond at hff/wing at the end of 2010 from memory.

I love the spiel below the team selector saying you can't share the info thats on there with anyone. optimistic at best. it also says prices are subject to change, i hope they don't, pretty stoked with the look of my team atm and only $1000 in the bank.

The guys that are making their teams and stuff - is it because you signed up to gold this year? Is it possible to sign up now for next year, so I can begin planning? Cheers

no, but if you sign up for gold this year when it opens you'll get it for the 2013 season.

Seriously considering just disregarding overall ranking and back myself to win enough games around the byes to secure top 4 spots in my leagues and conserving trades.

This year more than any i think it will have to be a distinct choice, if you're using 6-9 trades during the bye rounds just to avoid donuts then you'd better hope some of those are upgrades otherwise it's going to be pretty tight.

If that means having 5-10 donuts then fine, i suspect the people that trade heavily to avoid donuts will really be battling come rounds 18+ if a few common prems go down.
