Ok folks, the new extended trade period is nearly upon us, so I thought it was time to bust out this thread again.

This thread is intended purely as a repository for links to all Lions-related trade news.

This thread is not for discussion, so when it pops up you'll know that there's some news, not just someone else offering their opinion (again) on whether we should go after Tippett.

Big Crows forward Kurt Tippett must decide whether to head home or stay in Adelaide

D-DAY for Queenslander Kurt Tippett could come as early as this week following Adelaide's narrow loss to Hawthorn in Saturday night's preliminary final.

Once the standard end-of-season player performance and medical reviews are finalised at Adelaide this week, Tippett will turn his attention to his future.

"Kurt has a number of commitments in Adelaide this week and the other things will flow on from that," his manager Peter Blucher said yesterday.

"Obviously, he has some big decisions to make.

"Now that his season is over, he can move on to the next phase."
