Can't be any worse than Bachmann, Dubnyk and whatever other trash they have.

Low risk/high reward.

I assume it will be a one year deal at league minimum. If Bryzgalov is no good they'll get another top end draft pick in 2014, if he finds some Desert Dawg form (tough to do with the way Edmonton plays) they could fix their goaltender problems for the next 3-4 seasons until their next guy (whoever that is) is ready to go.
