Yaco, with all due respect, BTG has said nothing about players not counting.

Scezza is pointing out like many others, that the players consideration/requests/needs were a major reason, why the Board struck a deal with the AFL Commission.

We can argue until we are blue in the face, but ultimately the players interests are the most paramount in this sad case.

Voted for Prior as he served with Evans so out of loyalty and wanting to keep a good performing board together

Voted for Madden, have met him, i think his connection to the club both as a player and post-footy career brings insights, he has run his own business and is an engaging person.

I didn't know enough about the other two candidates, their information didn't provide enough insight into where they wanted to take the club from an already good position..

The almost stack Madden had when getting up on stage at the AGM was a pisser.

But in all seriousness, having met him, he is a genuinely really nice guy and I'm glad we've got such a solid personality on the board.

Was even better when Bomber got up and just walked up pointing at the thing Madden tripped on.

What were the final tallies?
Can't remember the exact tallies, they were shown at some point during the AGM though.

If you can find the transcript/video of that...

The number of members who voted wasn't particularly high from memory- only about seven thousand out of fifty-six thousand members.
