Jeez Selwood is well on track to polling the most Brownlow votes EVER and he hasn't won yet. On 114 odd after just 7 seasons. Surely looking at around 200 by the end of his career. Unlucky this year (thought he would bank the 3 for sure against Hawthorn in rd 1), but hey to finish one vote behind ain't too shabby. Stellar season from Joel though and what a superb captain <3. Also the MRP can go **** themselves for those bullshit suspensions Stevie J copped. Cost him a brownlow. What a joke.

Also did anyone else think that was the worst coverage in recent times? Just filed with constant crap... why did we need to hear from Kewell, Agassi, Bogut and Adam Scott? Did they do 2 rounds back to back without a prerecorded piece of rubbish or a commercial at all apart from right at the start? Also for those who watched it on Fox footy we got lumped with channel 7s ads... probably shouldn't expect more from 7 but it was bloody ordinary

Often it is those who beleive in evolution who say it, which in itself is unscientific. No examples ever of life from non-life, something from nothing, genetic information increasing, irreducible complexity of the cell etc. (I love my science). There is certainly 'some' type of creator.

Meanwhile, what a woeful freaking shambles that telecast was. I know it's always painful-but-oddly-compelling TV, but I don't remember it being this farcical. Although Lingy cutting off Demetriou reading out one game's votes for an interview with Sel was hilarious.

Stokesy picked up a few votes, but not as many as I thought he might.

Sure backs and forwards often miss out and it is a midfield medal but Mots did a lot of running - and played liked an outside mid for half his games - and got 1 vote ?

They call it a midfielders medal but what it really is is a midfield accumulators medal.

SJ obviously had some storming games and I haven't bothered to check it out but he must have also polled heavily in those games he was getting 30 touches at 15% efficiency or whatever.

Selwood must be gunning for Hocking's record of most browlow votes without winning it.

It would be a very short debate.

Johnson wasn't even mentioned as polling well prior to the count. I know his suspension meant he wasn't in the frame to win, but I never heard his name once in Briwnlow discussion.
