Just put him on the rookie list and upgrade an additional rookie.

This way we can support him up until his trail and delist him if he does time. Being a senior player down during 2014 isn't acceptable.

If he doesn't do gaol time and can commit to football then he can earn a senior spot again.

absolutely right...he's 19 I think and this GBH thing has been going on for about 12 months already with no court case for the next few months. He has abilty, but not many kids can cope with this ongoing pressure plus injury while trying to break into AFL in a position where you don't hey a lot of play. He may well turn out to be not committed enough but I think with the talent he has, he is worth this type of punt...a la Walters for Freo

The issue isn't even that he got charged. The issue is that following that he came back to the club in a shape where he was beaten by Woosh. Upon being sent back to the WAFL he cracked it and left. From a football perspective alone that's enough to raise serious alarm bells, talented or not. Talent, as so many others before Murray Newman have proven, counts for SFA alone.

Newman didn't crack the shits "upon being sent back to the wafl". He played there most of there year, he did miss a few games with his knee, but every game he played was in the WAFL (other than all stars match).

You make it sound like it happend all very close together and there was no progress made at all throughout the season, but that's not very fair at all. He had to get to a certain level of fitness before even playing round 1 in the WAFL, which he managed to do.

Noone has any idea why he left the WAFL match though, only him and probably the club do, and neither of them will be speaking about it anytime soon.

Although it's an easy enough task with the last 12 months for Newman, you make it sound worse/more clear cut than it is.

Yep need the z axis grid for that. x + y doesn't do it justice.

Needs to show it veer to the left on its way up and then veer to the right on the way down giving the leading target no chance in determining exactly where the ball drop will be.

In today's West Neale Daniher confirmed he had been approached by the Bombers with permission from Nisbett about heading home to help out the Bombers. Daniher declined and said he still have a year left out on his contract and would not want to leave the club in a lurch. I like Neale and think he has been good in the background for the Eagles.

It shows the type of team man, he is ,obviously he has strong ties at Essendon and he could have bailed like the others
But he didn't , I hope his health is ok

Yeah from the start of the year the Eagles attack on the ball was no where near the Year before ,but then they are well in front against Carlton and Port Adelaide and get run over,it's as if they weren't fit enough or something and then the rest of the year was up and down ,Keeping in mind we did have some big players out right throughout the year and then the last three games were probably as bad as I've seen them play no desire at all, Josh Kennedy didn't kick a goal in those last three games after leading,the Coleman for a lot of the year and came out with a weird comment " it would be good to see Cameron from GWS win the goal kicking " I thought that was a bit weird .
Just a year we'd like to forget really , but with a few good recruits and a fit side we will be up their again .
