Why is ours always so long after everyone elses??

Could work well as a motivational tool. Just as the players are getting into preseason training they have to relive the 'so close, yet so far' season to get the fires burning.

Either that or they'll get totally sloshed and set themselves back a couple of days.

BCM = My 2013 buddy M. Walters

An absolute shoe in ;)
Kepler beats him hands down with his sense of humour and the coaches love him .
Besides he's a great role model .
Who else can kick a backslide goal and hurt their hand in celebrating by hitting the ground too hard :);)

The more I think about it I can't really see anyone other than Crowls winning it. Beat a strong field last year and had an even better season in 2013. Played all games which helps.

My final prediction
1- Crowley
2- Johnson
3- Mayne

That'll be the top 3.

He can't win if he is Doig medal winner and Keps has the inside running for BCM due to Bigest clown ain't on the list .
Keps even with the Knee opp was still up beat and keeps everybody laughing with wit and smiles

With the Doig on tomorrow night and I'm calling it now:
1st Mayne
2nd Crowley
3rd Johnson

Yep, you clearly have an idea on how the voting system works. I think you can't discount Fyfe because he was so good this year for many games, but he did miss a couple and had a couple of 'down games' too which could see him pipped at the post by one of those three who were less 'flashy' but more consistent and played a few more games.

I'd reverse that order though for mine - I think I said Johnson earlier in this thread and I'll stick to him, but I'm not overly confident TBH - it's going to be tough to call.

I agree. But Johnson started slowly, don't think he will be 2nd.

Did I recall reading somewhere that the format for the Doig is different this year in that the players already know who's won upon arrival? Why would they do that? Correct me if I'm wrong!

Hoping for Fyfe. Thinking Crowley will get it.
