Mayne had a relatively poor finals series and was passed comfortably by a number, finished 6th overall.

It'll be a different story next year when Gumbleton allows Mayney to play his true position as 3rd tall forward.

Agreed, I reckon his pool room will look like the Sultan of Brunei's in 10 years time. We have a bona fide super star in the making. Could be worth giving him a joint captaincy this year then taking it on his own in 2015.

I really liked the voting system. Rewards consistency and gives every player an idea of where they sit

Went to a BBQ lunch today arranged by horizons west down the esplanade and Micky Barlow & Spurr were there as advertised but Sonny was a no show.

Both the lads were good signing, photos etc but they looked like they had no idea about sonny not being there. Hopefully he hasn't strayed!
