Here's a handy little thing if anyone needs to know in their state.

What is Marcus Bontempelli if he pans out, an inside midfielder?

X factor. , awkward height , massive height !
Pick the safer option pleeeeease!!

Bontempelli is almost exactly the same height as Chris Grant. I'm OK with that height.

Yup 90% sure were taking Bontempelli, I reckon he will become a Jared Brennan.
I have no idea what he will become.

I hope he will become a Matthew Pavlich instead of your prediction.

KK reminds me more of Brennan then Bontempelli to be honest
apart from how Bontempelli carries the ball in one hand

I am wondering still if we're using our third & fourth round picks in the draft
Darcy Lang strikes me as an odd pick to suggest we would get as he is a quick inside midfielder
Toby Nankervis would look a solid pick up, hoping he Apeness/HarveyConlon or Miller are there at one of our later picks.

Anyone who pays for online HS stuff wanna post what this article says? :p. Talking about us taking Bontempelli over Aish.

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/a...story-fni5f22o-1226763639803?from=public_rss#

"The Herald Sun believes the Dogs have cooled on dual-premiership Norwood star James Aish, a slick outside midfielder widely considered a top-three lock all season. The domino effect could see Aish fall to Gold Coast (pick 5) or Collingwood (6). Fellow South Australian Matthew Scharenberg, who is nursing bone-stress reactions in both feet, is also in the mix for the Pies at No. 6 and Brisbane Lions (7).

Bontempelli has polarised recruiters with some calling him the biggest boom or bust prospect in the first round. His dynamic gamestyle has been likened to Collingwood champion Scott Pendlebury, with one recruiter rating the 194cm inside-outside midfielder the best player in the draft pool. But the Herald Sun knows some clubs rank the cousin of North Melbourne's Nick Dal Santo as low as the 17th best player in the draft, given his inconsistencies this year. The Dogs will finalise the call at a meeting this afternoon on the Gold Coast."

There is also some random stats discussion for Bontempelli, Boyd and Kelly and a recap of previous stuff on Scharenberg. You ain't missing nothing by not seeing this though.

Iam rapt that we look like taking Bontempelli, I think the other big plus with him is. He is one of the youngest boys in the draft, and does not turn 18 until the end of November. This just adds to his upside, so much improvement to come. Just pick him Doggies.
Day after the draft actually

Just kidding, really like him and hope if we want him then we recruit him, same with the players later in the draft.
