I've seen a couple of phantom Drafts who will we get as It seems it's out of Aish, KK and Billings? Bit disappointed about the news Scharenberg's feet might be a problem

Bontempelli is not a speculative pick, most have him around pick 6 if we don't take him.

No reason Dahlhaus, JJ and Campbell can't become A-graders, Dickson was a mature aged player who was drafted just to play a role and he is doing exactly that.

Umm... That's a common misconception on this board. Shannon Grant made Tory Dickson, Tom Campbell (and Redpath) aware to the club......not Dalrymple. All Dal did was call the names out on the day.

Bontempelli is not a speculative pick, most have him around pick 6 if we don't take him.

He looks like a faster version of Macrae, just wait 2 more preseasons for Macrae he'll explode then.

I see the need perhaps for 1 more tall midfielder with Bontempelli but surely with pick 4 we get best available (Aish) or fill in a need down back with KK. Marsh should be gone by 42 and we don't need him imo with Grant, Crameri and Stringer who would play similar forward roles to Marsh. Marsh could be another Jeremy Howe I guess though. Would rather we get a prospect Key Forward at 42/60 and chuck him straight into the VFL at FF/CHF. Haven't heard of Turner.

No way Marsh lasts till 42. A kid that big with his kind of pace, someone will pop him in the top 30.

He said and I quote the Bulldogs have their cards close to their chest...He went with Boom Boom Bontempelli and also mentioned Collingwood were keen on him. He said that Aish was our most likely other option. He claimed to be on the phones all day trying to find out...

next year is the last year he can stay on the rookie list, so we can upgrade him or de-list him next year (then re-rookie)

Its has become quite a punishing thread to visit.

Its the same every year and makes it incredibly difficult for non watchers of underage football like me to form any sort of considered opinion on who best fits our needs.

Don't know how I'd feel about taking Bontempelli and Marsh but I guess if Marsh is there at 42 then we should probably take him, if we got Bontempelli, Harvey and Turner that would be just about perfect I reckon.

Also said Scharenberg was a flight risk in two years for anyone bar Collingwood. Wouldn't be surprised if this has been promoted by him/his family and is part of the reason it appears he's slipping.
