No way Marsh lasts till 42. A kid that big with his kind of pace, someone will pop him in the top 30.

He seems like a no brainer for Brisbane with one of those picks. Especially with them showing interest in spindles, a fairly similar player

I read that too and struggled big time as to why Liam Jones was stiff to miss. Jordan Roughead was similar pick, has delivered better results and didn't make the list.

Wasn't Tom Rockliff in that year?

Also said Scharenberg was a flight risk in two years for anyone bar Collingwood. Wouldn't be surprised if this has been promoted by him/his family and is part of the reason it appears he's slipping.

If that is accurate then the Afl need to review the rules. It just can't get to a place where draftees are able to drive the agenda. It's anticompetitive and goes against any suggestion of implementing strong equalisation measures. Pretty easy to legislate around working with the AFLPA.

Gonna say this once: drafting Bontempelli when there are more accomplished, less risky players available who suit our needs more, is an unforced error we do not have to make and cannot afford to make.

Heard that he was sick but still, pretty ridiculous. Any other kid would drag themselves down there half dead if they had to. Obviously doesn't want it enough, shame to lose a kid of his talent but its his loss and he is going to be the only one regretting it so whatevs
