Clubs tend to give out a lot of misinformation around this time of the year so player's can slip. I'm sure there will be a few more rumours to come out. I still can't believe Dyson Heppell slipped to Essendon's pick after a late rumour took off.

Wasn't there also something going around how Elliott Kavanagh's family were making things very difficult for clubs by being uncooperative, to ensure that he got the bombers?

I don't think that was a rumour, Elliot's dad was being a bit of a knob. I think he publicly said Elliot only wants to go to the bombers or something along those lines.

I still feel like he is underrated. Pick 4 probs too high with the others available but I think worthy of a top 10 pick.

I think Acres just about ticks all the boxes for the complete, gun midfielder and looks like exactly what we'd want. Except of course for the big "exposed form" one. Too big a risk to take someone with pick 4 who hasn't had the chance to do too much this year, but I wouldn't be surprised if he turns out to be one of the best of this draft.

I wouldn't be too unhappy if we reached for him, but I'd be really nervous. Also, he needs to shave that dirty pedo moustache.

I would've loved Acres. But once again- we should've traded down if we wanted him.

I'm hearing the Bontempelli talk has drifted a bit and it's still a pretty steady Aish and KK battle. I'd take either of them, although i think i'd be happier with Aish.

Not really liking all of the bontempelli speculation at pick 4 at all. Thinking that the importance of these tall midfielders is overrated and that bontempelli if he could be one of a few players who is 190cm+ plays midfield for us, it will primarily be as an inside mid, like Watson, Mundy, Kennedy etc. Don't think bontempelli is a natural forward either, and unless he becomes like hodge and that can play mid as well, top 5 picks shouldnt be used on defenders, like gws used on plowman last year.

I don't mind the gibbs comparison to aish in that despite Gibbs having virtually no inside game, he is very good at every other aspect, including disposal, speed, endurance, run and carry etc and a player of his type would be extremely useful complementing our mids.

Aish virtually has to be ours at 4 if Boyd, Kelly, and billings are gone by our pick.

Not a big fan of defenders in top 5 picks and both sharenburg and kk are defenders and bontempellis hasnt carved out a regular position.

This is a bit of a change from most other peoples preferences on this board but after aish for me it would be

Lennon>Acres>Scharenburg>Taylor>McCarthy>KK>Bontempelli>Freeman

So, just stopped in to check out how my "other" team sees their draft heading. Really hope you guys get Aish. Actually really like Crouch as the pick of the rest. Would be good to see the Bullies pick up another big bodied KPP with pick 42. I'm hoping Hourigan lasts to pick 37 for Freo but it would be a steal for you guys at 42. Reckon Aish + the midfield you've already assembled will cause plenty of headaches for oppositions in a year or two. Good luck with it anyway guys.

According to the HS Josh Kelly is the second coming of Simon Black/Luke Hodge/Ablett. I'm sure he's a great player but Geez the media pump up the tyres of some of these draft kids. That's why I like reading some BF opinions, it's a very good leveller...

Having said that....to be fair, it's not just the HS pumping up the tyres of every single draft prospect in a shallow draft..
And Kelly has been a recruiters favourite all year.
