I hope not, although I think it will come down to whoever is available out of Aish and Billings for us, and as much as I hope its Aish I would still be stoked with Billings.

I think Kim Jong Pelchen will make the decision on who they draft.

From what has been mentioned, sounds like the dogs would definitely prefer Billings over the SA kids. They'd be hoping that St Kilda doesn't pick him. I think most on this forum would prefer Aish over him though.

Who actually has the final say on who we pick? I read somewhere on here, that someone said B-Mac wanted someone else last year, but got overruled by Dalrymple. And in another draft Dalrymple wanted someone else, but B-Mac overruled him for Clay Smith. Not that I believe these things anyways, as how do people even know this for sure unless there.

Point being, it gives a mixed message on who actually has the power. I'm curious to whether we vote on as a group on the first pick (seeing it's predictable who will be around), with B-Mac having the final say on tied or close votes. Whether B-Mac makes his own call entirely. Or of we just leave it to J-Mac and the recruiting team only?

From how I understand it is this in the 2011 draft. Dalrymple I think thought Hayden Crozier was the best player available, but the coach wanted an inside midfielder which Dalrymple thought was Clay Smith. So basically Dalrymple picked the player, but Bmac had an influence as to what type of player was picked which is fair enough.

Dalrymple still has the final say on the player is picked and it's mostly his decision as it's his arse on the line. Jmac and Bmac would have some influence on what type of player the team needs and what type would fit in to Bmac's philosophy/plans for which they now have a points system in place that marks the talent and character of the player.

Gibbons is at 16 in their power rankings. This is ahead of Freeman, Bontempelli, Hartung, Acres (25) to name just a few. Aish at 8.

A few obvious choices, and the rest is all over the place.

I think she does her power rankings/top 25 on the weekend then her phantom draft a day before the draft or maybe even on the day. Happy to be corrected wrong if not.

That article says we are keen on Honeychurch. I like him, but another player at 175cm is not what I really want. I think we need more players that can compete in the air.
