We are doing a Phantom Draft over at the Collingwood, who are the Doggies most likely to take at pick 4? Boyd, Scharenberg and Kelly have already been selected.

Aish for me!
Hard to argue with him at 4.

Yep, apparently so. I can kinda understand Redpath but the Greenwood retention just boggles my mind.

Yeah Addo's gone. Either today or as a delisted free agent.

Leaves us at:
OUT - Veszpremi, Cross, Markovic, Lower, Addison
IN - Crameri, pick 4, pick 42, Goodes (upgrade)

That leaves us with either two main list spots (as we had one less than the proper amount this season in order to have an extra rookie), two rookie picks or one rookie pick and one main list spot.

If we go off the rumours our changes would look like this:
OUT - Veszpremi, Cross, Markovic, Lower, Addison
IN - Crameri, Darley, Scharenberg/Aish, Brown, Goodes (upgrade), Batsanis (rookie)

Not a bad off-season. Nothing remarkable but I'd be content.

Can't be bothered looking for my reply either so I'll just re-write it.

He's a Port Melbourne player. Big bodied outside midfielder with a decent burst of speed and nice skills. I personally haven't heard anything but it was posted on here that we were into him for a dual rookie/fitness role or something. I think the original post may be in the rumour mill thread somewhere. That summary was just going off rumours anyway as it said above; nothing concrete of course.

Purely on a needs basis, aish would be the selection over billings.

Hunter, dal as smaller creative forwards. Higgins as a mid/forward. Crameri, grant and stringer as medium/3rd talls. Billings looks an elite talent, but, a pure silk mid is key to our list build.

We have an amazing history of success with SA boys in the past decade w-Lake, Harris, Eagelton, Minson, Cooney, Griffen etc.. He would would fit in nicely with our Croweater Mafia we have. (& Howard..)

PS: I'd back ourselves in, but Anyone else here worried that the son/grandson of Norwood legends would head back to SA after a few years?. ie: Ebert with PA.

Ebert left because he wasn't getting gametime. I don't think homesickness is much of an issue if you build a good environment at the club.

He's saying get Aish, and at pick 42 pick another South Australian so that Aish will have another 18 year old South Australian at the club. Even though that makes no sense since we already have a couple of South Australians, and unless we pick one of his friends another SA kid won't make any difference.

Dwayne Wilson is best mates with Aish and i have wanted him at the club for 2years saw a game this year had it 13 times in a quarter kicked 4 and looked every bit like lewis Jetta he is the missing piece to our puzzle

I didn't know that they were mates. I wouldn't mind Wilson, put him in the gym and get some consistency in his game and he could be very damaging. Although he's pretty short, and I don't really want us to pick any more short midfielders, i'd rather go for some height.
