KP has put up his full power rankings but not with the write ups. I along with many people rate his analysis very high, since he goes pretty in depth. He also has access to combine information, and applies it only in ways where it is relevant.

It was a shame though to see that he is in the same boat as many others in that there might be some concerns with Aish. Interesting to note that he says he has had issues regarding him over the last few years, and it's not based just on this years performance. Hope he's wrong if we do get him. I do like the two safe picks up the top at 2 and 3, though I highly doubt we'll get Sheed despite my man crush on him.

His top 15:

1. Tom Boyd
2. Dom Sheed
3. Matt Scharenberg
4. Josh Kelly
5. Jack Billings
6. Blake Acres
7. Marcus Bontempelli
8. Kade Kolodjashnij
9. Luke McDonald
10. Trent Dumont
11. Christian Salem
12. James Aish
13. Zak Jones
14. Luke Dunstan
15. Eli Templeton

That top 5 also has the same players as AFL Prospectus, but with Sheed and Kelly swapped.

Fantasy Freako did a tweet that might be of interest to fellow supercoach enthusiasts:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Of the top 20 in <a href="https://twitter.com/superfooty">@superfooty</a> phantom draft - top 3 <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=#Supercoach&amp;src=hash">#Supercoach</a> pts. from NAB U-18s - Sheed (142), <a href="https://twitter.com/kolodjashnij">@kolodjashnij</a> (138) and Kelly (136).</p>&mdash; Fantasy Freako (@FantasyFreako) <a href="">November 11, 2013</a></blockquote>

There was also another saying that Griffen is the only mid to rate elite for disposals, metres gained, contested possessions and score involvements. What a gun.

I think we are doing ok if our choice comes down to Aish or Scharenburg.

Both players have been considered top 4 prospects all year (and last year too for that matter).

It's only been the last month where Aish has fallen a little out of flavour.

Actually I think we would be quite a good destination from Aish's point of view - their are plenty of father-sons on the list (Aish's father was quite the player I think), and both Griffen and Cooney came over from SA and loved it here (amongst others).

I'd be happy with Scharenburg too. I really think we are unnecessarily reaching if we go for KK, or Bontempelli in this draft - albeit they have been big developers this year (similar to how Macrae developed last year).

In any case, I just trust Macca to pick the right player!!!!!

Plus who the hell would move back to Adelaide from Melbourne? Adelaide is pretty dead for younger people.

I've heard a bit of noise that we're into Bontempelli for pick 4. I don't want that at all.
I don't really care who we get as I trust whoever our recruiting manager judges as best available .. Bontempelli is my favorite though

Look I'm going to trust our recruiting managers no matter what they decide. But I would not be a fan if we passed on one of Aish/Scharenberg/Billings/KK for Bontempelli.

I don't get why we are looking at the way other teams play? Big mids might be all and good now, but let's go with the best qualified player. Pick 4 for Aish or Billings, and I'm banging on about this but I'm worried we're looking at X factor and upside ahead of currently the best qualified.
Pick 4 for quality

I would just play it 'safe' with our pick 4. Seems to me that there are the top 4 (Boyd, Aish, Kelly, Scharenburg), then Billings, then the next tier.

I think we will end up with Scharenburg, because GWS will take Kelly at 2, then St Kilda will take Aish at 3.
I thought the saints were heavily into Billings.

Exactly. And the side that just won the flag only has one mid that's over 188cm, and that's Isaac Smith with a 83kg body! I still think that the obsession with big midfielders is a media/BF fabrication, and clubs will just go best available (unless you're SOS). I don't think we'll go for Bontempelli, we'll go for one of the top rated ones.

How did you hear that we are into Him?

Just whispers doing the rounds, probably nothing, but it escalated in the past 24 hours, died down again. Because this draft keeps on switching and the only thing locked in is Boyd at #1, we're going to be linked to a few different players, and we have been. So take anything said with a grain of salt.

Had another looksee at Aish's highlights in the national championships, that Hourigan guy makes Aish look pretty good.
Guess we will just have to get both then :D

I love hourigan. I reckon he will end up being a good player.

Michael Aish was his uncle. His father played SANFL but was just a player.

Aish was a good SANFL player but the draft is full of high picks who never made it. If you don't have the kohunas to have a decent crack at the top level, you probably wouldn't have made it anyway.

Your constant derision of James Aish's abillities is going to look ridiculous when he turns out to be a outstanding AFL footballer.

Didn't see Aish backing twice into a pack against big bodied types in The SANFL?
Why reach for a guy with pick 4?
It's complete madness

If we end up with Bontempelli then you'll not be a fan as mathematically at least 2 of the four you mention will be available (with Boyd going at 1).

To be fair, the Freo midfield was all over Hawthorns.
It was up forward & down back where the game was one, and as is often the case in a gf, composure kicking for goal made all the difference.

I would definitely like some more marking options through our midfield.
Really hoping Stevens can step up next year.
