Honestly mate. There was hardly any dancing going on. Sure, there was a higher % of females in there compared to males but that just lead to awkward moments as we hurried back and forth trying to keep a couple on a string until ultimately forced to make a decision. Then, just quietly sitting on little corner lounges with little to do but make out ... wondering when the atmosphere was going to liven up. Small consolation in that the drink service was lightning quick but does that make up for the other stuff? I think not.

You would have hated it.

.....and let me guess, just to rub it in all the chicks looked like Tom Boyd and Mitch Thorp!?

Who notices these things in the heat of the moment? Although I doubt I'd be rubbing anything anywhere.

Let me guess, the drinks were on Fat Vlad too?

I knew it!

Tom Boyd more likely in 2 years time then Cameron.
Boyd gonna be hard to pry away - very high price. Patton, Jaksch or Tomlinson more in our range.

Tho I'd love to pull Shiel and Boyd away due to their Blue Blood.

The price, I realise would be too big for us - probably would ask for Gibbs and our future 3 x first rounders...

You need to see someone about that stutter ODN.

Not a stutter. It's short term memory loss. Those trying to post last night experienced it a lot.

They could also risk lose him for nothing if he wants to come...;)

He will be out of contract unless they convince to an extension midway through he's initial deal and we will have a fair bit of money freed up to throw around when Judd and Waite are finished and Simpson/Carrazzo probably on veterans list or retired also.

Reckon we get into SOS' ear early and make it well known to their mgmt that we want them. If we can try to plant the seed and get them to hold off until end of year, we may just have a chance.

Operation: Get Patton begins now. This is surely a given for next year's trade period that one of their KPFs will go... they simply cannot keep them all happy as there's no room to play even half of them (they can't all be shifted into defence).

If we don't go hard for Patton or Jaksch next year, man...

They wont be able to play them all in the one side, if Patton & Jacksch play less than 10 games this year they will all of a sudden lose plenty of value at the trade table, and we might be able to snag a bargain..

TOMLINSON PLEASEEE

Reckon we can package up Sos and bring him home as well...;)

According to Glen Manton on twitter, he coached Holman and wouldn't mind him wearing 22.

Nice effort last night by the lads. As it turned out the slider wasn't there for our first pick so happy to get Cripps. Giles and Holman both good value it seems. Its been a good period for us when including the trade period :thumbsu:
I don't think anyone could argue that our list is not in better shape now than it was 3 months ago.

I have been wondering why we haven't had any father sons in a while, I cant even remember one after Whitnall. You would have thought between our golden generation of the 80s and 90s that they would have produced at least a few decent young lads with football ability.
