Ch7 were reporting tonight Hampson to Richmond for the Tigers 2nd rnd pick.
As I mentioned earlier, im just hoping its posturing and leaked by the club to drive up price.

Disclosure :) : I know very little of this years draftees

We have #13 as it currently stands and currently the names that are beyond our reach at that pick are:
Boyd, Aish, Billings, Kelly, McDonald (Likely F/S) and Scharenberg. That should take care of 6 players we won't see.

The next batch of mids seem to be:
Lennon, Salem, Bontempelli, Crouch, Dumont, Dunstan, K'shnij, Freeman, Sheed and Taylor. That takes us to pick #16.

Seems we may likely get someone from this batch, for now at least.

Just have the feeling that we'll go down the "captain material" type. What do others think?
Id suggest we are more likely to select the best "big stage" player available base on MM previous history with draftt picks. See Dale Thomas (BOG TAC GF) over the expected Xavier Ellis at pick #2, Pendlebury (suprise at pick #5 and TAC premier) as well as Sidebottom (10 goals BOG at pick #11) as examples off the top of my head. Players who have tasted success and shown their ability to perform on the big stage as there is no point if they cant perform there (see AFL Grand Final as an example of "big stage")

very skinny

No more skinny flakey kids.. more little bulls that want the ball so bad they are willing to get bruised and battered for their team.

Nice leg hasn't he LM?
Only saw him in one game live this year and anyone that can bullet a 50mt pass across his body has some good traits.

WC did think enough of him to bid at pick #6. Seems like a ready-to-go player.

Yep, has a good combination of outside and inside game. Then that zone busting leg, so all good. If North finished on the ladder to their potential, it would have been a bigger bargain, I think they paid spot on the money for his talent.

Unlike the Doggies a few years ago getting FS bargains and Essendon last year getting a bargain.

They are talking about Trent Dumont on trade radio right now
