White - who knows if we chased him or any other club for that matter, just because there isn't some bullshit rumour article doesn't mean other clubs didn't chase him.

Plus there is a difference between committing to a player like White with a draft pick and going into the draft and taking the best available. The draft is a beautiful thing where you could get a choice of dozens of players, if Thorp is the best available at the time I am sure a club will take him, that is not neccesarily the same as trading a pick and wasting your chance to look at the best available talent.
With trading you lock yourself into a player like White, perhaps us and other clubs thought we'd rather take our chance to get a standout selection liek Grayham last season.\

Pfft his injury history, youre just finding arguments to base your own stubborn beliefs now and you know it, he doesnt have any degenerative, or systematic injuries, he had a couple of foot injuries which happenned to coincide, he hasn't got the type of injuries that ruin careers like Back issues, weak hamstring/groins, ostitispubis, etc etc
And I am yet to see anything OF NOTE about his reputation which isn't countered by other sources sugesting the complete opposite.

Thorp officially has a bandwagon, and its been pulled by big white horses with silver bells on their harnesses. Meanwhile the man himself has morphed into a cross between Matthew Pavlich and Saint Christopher. We MUST get him. Pick 13 I say!

Collingwood did well to land Kennedy last year. A very neat footballer that will continue to get better.

You obviously have some solid info Sin - care to elaborate?

I'm not fussed either way - but unlike Garlett he does at least fit a need. I trust the club to have done the due diligence supporters can't and if we pick him up then I'll be happy. If we pass then I'll also be happy as the club will have deemed he is not the right fit.

What i do find amusing is the shouting down of anyone on here with an opposing opinion - lets be honest, most of us have no idea on Thorpe except what we read in the media and rumours on BF and we know how many of them turn out to be true!

If Thorp is still there at 51, i'd be happy for us to take a chance on him.
High risk yes, but it could also be a high reward as well.
He wouldn't be that stupid to put a second chance in jeopardy.
