Bad call. Temay will not see a game in 2013. Menzel is the man.

It will be very interesting to see how it all plays out, but I have a feeling that you may be wrong on that one. It would not surprise me to see Temay play early, and play often. He seems to be the type that goes about his business without fuss, someone that will really flourish at senior level and I can see that really appealing to Mick. Also working in his favour is that we don't really have an established small defender that would consistently be keeping him out of the side.

Warnock to be our first ruck all year................GCBC

Bad call. There has been a fair bit of talk coming out of the club regarding Warnock and his prospects for 2013 but I just can't see it. In my mind he is the best pure tap ruckman we have on the list, but in this day and age that simply is not enough. I think he is clearly our 3rd best option for starting ruck and I can't see that changing unless he shows an ability to have an impact outside of the centre bounces. The game is no longer kind to players who are limited to the single position.

Good call. MM & Co. to iron out the wrinkles in Levi's game and he will become a key player on the fwd line.

bad call. Waite's experience will take the pressure off of Casboult and resting ruck. Not suggesting he wont see time down the ground, when needed, but he'll predominantly play forward.

As far as Cas being top two AFL in contested marks, bad call. He wont be the target quite often enough for that to happen. Much more likely chance of it happening 2014 and beyond. One more year as an apprentice being groomed into MM's game plan and he will explode.

Bad Call. McLean is not a one season wonder - he was a pretty good player at Melbourne, and was killing them in the VFL week after week until the MC could no longer ignore him last year and didn't look back when selected. No reason why last year's form shouldn't continue in 2013.

MM ignores defense-centric game plan and playing the perimeter to take account of the strength of the players at hand as the Blues adopt a Blight (early 90s) game plan of rip it up the middle and score heavily with Betts, Garlett, Walker, Waite and Cas in a goal feast. GCBC?
