He has so much x factor tho, I Don't think anyone would disagree the other boys feed of that.. I agree a defensive mindset could work with coxy rucking for most I the game..

His ability to direct the ball to any position means we can position ourselves to win most clearances, those same tactics probably have a negative effect while Cox is rucking and also highlight some weaknesses within our midfield setup/ personnel.

NN provides so much grunt at ground level, and he's getting meaner which is great.. Would love to see scooter gett a bit more Agro (without getting rubbed out of coarse).

In Wooshas interview today he said they intend to get Kerr and Nic Nat 100%.

As to not repeat what happened with JK last year in bringing him back so quickly after his footy injury at the start of the season as they think that could have contributed to his ankle injury in round 5.

Maybe that's what Shuey was trying to do last year, just went the wrong way about it.... Hopefully see a bit more kerrmikazesque efforts from the younger guys.

Id say it's got more to do with how we set up with Naitanui playing. Without him playing our midfielder must go into the game with a more defensive mindset around stoppages.

He has a presence about him. Also his handballs set up some amazing play, second only to daniel kerr's left handed ones

WEST COAST
Adam Carter (ankle) 1-2 weeks
Daniel Kerr (knee) 3-4 weeks
Nic Naitanui (groin) 3-4 weeks
Mark Nicoski (hamstring) 8 weeks
Matt Rosa (quad) 6-8 weeks
Sharrod Wellingham (ankle) 4-6 weeks

Summary: Wellingham's ankle injury, which was sustained in a trampoline accident, sums up the Eagles' pre-season. Things haven't gone to plan. The former Magpie had to remain in a moon boot longer than forecast, ruling him out of the early rounds after a strong NAB Cup performance had the club excited. All Australian ruckman Naitanui and veteran midfielder Kerr have also endured drawn out recoveries after undergoing surgery late last year. Rosa required surgery for compartment syndrome after he pulled up sore from the club's final NAB Cup match, continuing a luckless run for the midfielder. Nicoski has been placed on the long-term injury list as he battles to recover from major hamstring surgery.

I assume Bennell isn't mentioned because as was the case in previous years, rookie list players aren't on the 'official list'.

What I wantto know is what's happening with Brad Dick? On the WCE site it has a story about him and Bennell up north running a junior clinic. Is he going to play WAFL this week?

When the moonboot comes off ,it will probably be another 4 wks before sharrod will be able to play AFL AS HE will have to build up his fitness base that he has lost ,so 2 wks of training before another 2 wks of WAFL MATCHES ..

Worsfold said the issue with Wellingham is once he gets back on the park, he will have to assess the injury or have the doctor suggest surgery. Said it was like what Goldsack went through last year at the end of the season.

Well we got Freo this week and round 2 for us doesn't start for us for another 2 weeks. We play the Hawks big game, but then we got the Dees at round 3 and round 4 the blues and after that we have an easy run so i wouldnt rush anything
