I'd like to say he shouldn't have been playing unless he's 100% but has he ever been 100% fit?
This is why I don't want him as captain, his body can't be trusted and with a captain you need him out there every single week, not once every five games, might as well just rest him for the rest of the season and play Wilson
That's not another injury for Waters, surely not?
The words 'blessing in disguise' come to mind. With Brennan out as well surely Wilson gets another chance?
Naitanui is quirky, he's a superb athlete but he's proven to have some consistent problems with soft tissue injuries, knees and back. We need someone like Cox capable of relieving Naitanui entirely of there ruck duties if need be. This gives us better flexibility to rest Naitanui forward as opposed to benching him outright for rests.
As it stands McInnes and McGovern both pinch hit, but they do it while playing true KPF or they won't get picked. Neither Lycett or Sinclair are capable of playing at the next level and will require large minutes n the ruck.
We also won't know truly how we'll cope without Cox until he's not playing for us.
One word, Bennell. We already have 2 talls and 2 "3rd talls" in our side. Adding another is folly.
We need someone who can handle small forwards.

i meant it as he gets injured every third week.
either the team selection committee is taking the piss or hes become a biscuit.

Have you seen the size of the ruckmen that are actually playing. They are all big big boys that have been in the system a few years. It takes a while for a young ruckman to get his fitness and strength up to the standards required to play AFL. To quote Paul Roos "Why would we develop a ruckman for 4-5 years when we can just pinch one from another club when they are ready."
Release the A Selwood.
this work crossed my mind as well. From the very limited WAFL replays I have see of him I am not sure he works hard enough. But I am sure others have a more informed view. One word, Bennell.
I have heard from someone close to the club Shuey is 50/50 for this weekend and will be given to the last minute to get up but will be 100% to go for the Sydney game if he does not play this week.
If he is not 100% i do not want WCE to risk him if he does it again and would rather we played Hutchings or Shep.
Burns said on 6pr lastnight that Waters injury is the same as last year where he was out for 2 weeks....i swear he can not take a trick i think its because Butler is back this week... lol
As much as I want to win against WA's 2nd XXII, if there is any risk I don't think we should play Shuey. We can't have another Waters/Le Cras jobbie and get them underdone or risk longer times on the side-lines.
