Indefinite is such a troubling word to see on the ol' injury list.

All it means is that we have our fingers crossed for round 1 but will likely see them a week or two after.

Can't wait to see Mitch on the park again, can't wait for the roar of the crowd to get behind him when he keeps his first goal of the season.

Ro Bail might need to start wearing the 'Shaun Hart'.. Not sure his coconut is up to AFL footy, might be worth hanging the boots up and letting Magner onto the primary list.

Surprised by Gawn 6/8 weeks as he joined in 95% of training yesterday and was moving very well.

It's just because he's on the LTI currently and won't be playing any games in the first few rounds or so... allows us to play a rookie if we want to.

Yeah and i figure that being our 3rd option he isn't going to push Jamar and Spencer for a spot unless they break down. Give him ample time to build up a base and give us a chance to get Magner back on the primary list.

Good to see so few injuries on the list, and all but Gawn should be back within the first couple of rounds. Really hoping we can avoid the season enders and keep the list to 4 or 5 minor injuries at any given time throughout the season.

He's more like our sixth option at present and that's not a knock on him. Lets see what he can show us this year.

Still reckon Clark won't be back to mid-season, and I'm cool with that as long as they manage him carefully.

Hope Dawes and Bubbles are upto it.

Sam Blease will miss four to six weeks

Blease hurt his left ankle when tackled early in Melbourne's first NAB Cup game but the club hoped initially he had escaped with a minor sprain.

However Melbourne football manager Josh Mahoney told AFL.com.au that scans on Monday revealed Blease had a high ankle sprain that would make him touch and go for round one.

"He's still a possibility. We'll just look at his program and see how much work he can do," Mahoney said.

Shame for Blease but might give a bloke like Kent a chance to play across half forward where he looked good on the weekend.

Every cloud has a silver lining.
