Not unique according to you KA what is it, less than 1% counts as unique in your books, if someone has even heard of the player you're choosing they're too vanilla?

Thats still 15-20k in teams - alot

Id like to know who your uniques are so far that have played. Goddard, Danger, Cox, Heppell, Kommer ? all so unique i mean who wouldve of picked them, such different options

I'm not telling you just yet,
I think sub 10% is pretty unique, one in every ten teams....

I really only had one unique, but a couple of my grey-er choices didnt go too well, basically im just annoyed that all my 50% of teams 40% of teams 47% of teams 35% of teams players are all i have left now and my 20% of teams and my one sub 10% of teams (so far) didnt go very well,

So far Naismith has been performing his very specific role of 'only costing 89k' superbly for my side. If he can keep that up all season I'll be very happy with the selection.

Im more than happy to pay the extra 15-20k for what i feel are valuable ruck rookies.

Yeah I've never understood the whole "R4 is a useless position" crap. If you've got a player like Naismith who won't play, sure you've saved yourself 15-20k, but somebody else may have somebody like Rowe who will gain money while Naismith sits there doing nothing.

All that has to happen is for the ruck you dont pick by picking Naismith to make 15-20 throughout the year for it to be even steven again.

Rowe was an example; surely two ruck rookies will play at some point this year. Daw will play three games at some point, and has the capacity to score decently, while players like Rowe, Currie, Witts, Blicavs, Gorringe etc will all make you cash.

Having an extra 20k for your starting squad at the start of the season can be more useful than having an extra 30k or so midseason, especially since you'd have to make a trade to access that 30k anyway.

I thought about that; extra trades this year make it feasible so long as your chosen ruck plays and the timing is right; but I decided I could make better use of the money first up, rather than play the wait and see approach. A bird in the hand and all that...

If none of them play round 1 I'll choose an 89k but if two I like do I'll pick em

You can always bring them in for a little bit of cash later on when they're on the bubble
