- Melbournes big mature bodied recruits will give them the structure they have been lacking. I think they can grab 8-9 wins.
- StKilda are going to naturally fade away as Watters addresses the next era at the selection table. Some crucial veterans will begin to struggle. 6 wins.
- Essendons lack of speed and run will see them caught out by the up and comers this year. Hird addresses the inevitable after finals is considered out of the equation by round 12. 7 wins.
