Magner and Couch were never given a chance by Neeld. Magner played heaps of games a couple of years ago and received two brownlow votes. I would keep him. Definetley keep McKenzie, the rest i agree with under your Delist group. Undecied list agree except McKenzie

I was surprised to see that the Dogs de-listed him. However I guess they have a pretty solid midfield right now.

Was most successful as a tagger with the Dogs? We've already got one of those.
 
Just red that GC have delisted Joel Wilkinson, really liked what i saw of him early in the year, although i tihnk he had a couple of major injury setbacks.

Is he worth a crack? I think so
 
Meh... He showed a bit, but I think we are fairly sorted there. He plays a bit like McDonald I reckon (maybe matches up more on smalls) and we also have Pedo and Sellar in reserve.

I imagine he will get picked up though, maybe by St Kilda.

One of the finest pure footballers of our generation.

It all depends on how much he's asking for. Would be happy on a cheap one year deal, he would at least bash some heads together and provide guidance for the youngsters. But I doubt Chappy would want to mar his brilliant career by playing for a 17th-placed team.
 
It's somewhat relevant as it is "management" I guess, but I've seen comments about Mitch Clark, saying how they want him to play as our ruck, and some others say that they want him to remain in the forward line. I'd personally prefer to see him in the forward, what about you guys?

forward. He was recruited in the extent he would never be a ruck, i really dont expect him to ever ruck in a red and blue top. Neeld even said he will never be a ruck. GRANTED Neeld isnt there anymore but its unlikely it will ever happen

I think you're getting confused with Dawes who was recruited as a pure forward and told he would never ruck. Clark has rucked for us on a few occassions, never as the primary, but he has spent minutes there.

Neeld recruited Clark to become (one of) our main forward(s), same with Dawes.

Yeh but what I was clarifying is that Neeld never said to Clark you will never play ruck, and that indeed Clark has played ruck. I agree with you, he was certainly recruited to play primarily forward.

Oh, yep, my bad. I'm excited to see what this forward line brings to the table.
 
Personally I would prefer to see Clark stay forward at least for next season. He has battled serious injuries since arriving & the last thing we need is him getting kneed & jumped into numerous times at centre bounces or third man up around the ground.

Let him get back to AFL level & play more 6 games before making him more of a battering ram!

Also, personally I think we have enough ruck talent in Jamar, Gawn, Spencer, Fitzpatrick (& Pederson at a pinch). Our issue is more the midfielders rather than ruckman & I believe Clark offers better value forward kicking us goals

So why hasn't he done anything for 5 years?
 
We could only lure Chapman with $$$, you'd think. Although he might see an appeal in playing under Roos.
