Tapscott couldn't run with an elite midfielder for more than about8 metres!
What if Peter Bell came out of retirement?

the way magner is tweeting it wont be his choice if he goes, assuming that sylvia is numero uno priority atm,After Watts re-signing today we currently have 6 players left coming out of contract.
3 senior listed and 3 rookie listed players.

Neville Jetta
James Magner (2nd year Rookie)
Nathan Stark (1st year rookie)
Colin Sylvia
Rory Taggert (Assumed, as a 2011 draftee)

taggert youd think would stay, clisby as well i would have thought
I don't know why we are all getting so excited about Taggert. Did nothing for one and a half years, then had a few good games for Casey and all of a sudden he deserves a third year despite not breaking through yet. Even Troy Davis got a couple of token games.. But still not him?

Who's getting over excited?
With our lack of midfielders I certainly wouldn't be delisting him yet though.

Edit: Possibly add Nicholson to this list who re-signed at the end of 2012, length of contract unconfirmed.
Seemingly every poster is saying we have to keep him - hasn't earned it IMO
some of the stuff i have seen from him are VERY impressiveI don't know why we are all getting so excited about Taggert. yeah whatever, the answer is no according to his own talking, club hasnt really said much about him, guidelines mean jack if we turf himIn addition to these eight (six) rookie listed players, under Player Rule 21.1.2 each Club may include up to three additional players on its Rookie List provided the player either: blah blah blah

Hey Dees fans,
Haven't read the whole thread, but dont know if you guys have discussed Levi Greenwood from north much? He's as hard as a cat's head and goes all day long - he can butcher it a bit - but defo knows how to find the ball. I reckon he's just the type of player you need.
Doesn't seem to be getting much of a go at North, has alot of fans on our board, but Scott seems to be aprehensive to give him a consistent look in.
Played 6 games this year, averaging 22 touches and 5.5 tackles - including a couple of games as a sub. Got 38 touches vs the bombers.
Couldn't imagine what he'd cost, as I am confused as to how much North value him. But I think he'd provide value.
What would Melbourne offer - is your trading policy to cash in your picks or hold onto them for the draft. What type of players do you have in surplus? or picks?
Just what we need another player who butchers the ball to join Nicholson, Mckenzie...........I'd rather players who can get the ball and find a target.Im sure behind the scenes this deal might already be being worked out, id say maybe a 3rd rounder 38-42 or maybe our 2nd (19) for greenwood and your second 2nd (26ish) not sure as to how you value him

So he's like Magner then?
Does anyone reckon Magner will actually get a chance to play in the AFL now?
Seems like he could've been handy for us last year, yet we still didn't decide to play him, even when he got elevated.
I really hope Roosy sees howgoodserviceable he is...
