Since he's now been delisted officially, I wouldn't mind taking him back for free, if that were something Paul Roos wanted to do. I believe and trust in Roos. Whatever he wants to do/needs to do, is fine by me. I trust his judgment.

Unless Roos is going to use Jolly for a year to mentor Gawn and Spencer then move into a ruck coach role the year after? Maybe Jamar could be used in a trade deal?? Only logic I can think of if Jolly was to come back.

I'd take Jolly as a delisted free agent. Costs us nothing but a list spot, and would be a good mentor/coach for Gawn and Fitz. Still a better ruck man than jamar, and much more useful as a resting forward and around the ground

Yes, Jolly has been in premiership teams but he is cooked & has alienated his previous pies team mates with his disparaging remarks about Fraser mid year.

He may have been a leader when at the swans but he is washed up now & going off his articles this year doesn't fit the swans mantra of the 'no dickheads policy' that I'm sure Roos will implement with us.

Remember when Swan went out on a Sunday night and was suspended. Leadership group had dealt with it without getting coaches involved as they new they would suspend him. Jolly went and informed the coaching staff of what had happened. That's a pretty basic overview. From then he basically lost a lot of respect of the players, then he had a crack at Fraser who still has quite a few mates at Collingwood.

Agreed, if they are player who was in no way involved with the program, yes, but any of the others, surely there's a risk. One senses this messiness could still get a whole lot worse for all involved.

HAHAHAHAH PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS TRUE!!!! Respect for Jolly massively gained. Funny thing is coz he was trying to get the culture in order and ended up getting the arse...
