More delistings/trades for draft picks we won't use to come, possibly. We still have pick 9, pick 36 and PSD #2 to use, plus a few potential delisted FA signings (Chapman, Cross, small forwards).

We've got pick 53 as well, I imagine we got that thrown in the deal from GWS because we want to do something with it. Perhaps use 3 picks in the draft, then either PSD #2 or Cross. I really want Cross, but he may not be in calculations now that we have Vince.

PSD #2 might not be used at all, not many uncontracted players left. Unless a Dayle Garlett/Chris Cain/Tom Rockliff type is left over from the draft, or Docherty/Adams can't get a deal done.

Yeh true, also I forgot about how some players are still uncontracted and could still be delisted / traded, so a fair bit of water to go under the bridge. As Vince essentially replaces Sylvia I still think we need to add an experienced mid, so I think Cross would be the perfect fit as a mentor for our shiny new young tackers.

My thoughts exactly. Had Sylvia stuck around I still thought we needed to add another hard bodied experienced mid and that hasn't changed despite this influx of mids we're bringing in this period. I wonder who will be jettisoned to make room.

Love that Roosy has been proactive in addressing your weaknesses straight away this trade period. And he's not bringing in hacks like Mark Neeld did, either. Another 2 experienced blokes in the middle plus a Cain and/or cross as mature inside mids and you'll be on the up pretty soon. Plus you'll get a #9 draft pick. Nick Lower might be worth a look, too. Was only delisted by us because we arguably have 4 of the best in and under players under 21 ;) nah but seriously, there was no chance he was pushing Libba, Wallis, Smith, Hrovat, Stringer or Macrae out of the centre. Plus Cooney, Griffen, Boyd and Gia.. He was always going to find it tough. Excelled as a defensive midfielder in the first 12 or so games for us, was probably pushing for a top 10 finish in our BnF.

If Bulldogs delisted him, Melbourne certainly don't want him...

I think Evans has good pace, but that's about it. Butchers the ball.

Also, Jetta seems like a Paul Roos project. Hard at it, struggling a bit, needs to find a position, good family name.

Most other coaches would have delisted him, and I have no problem either way as long as he only plays AFL footy if he's improved.
I think Evans showed quite a bit of promise this year. Remember it's his first relatively injury free season.

Honestly, I don't think he butchers it as badly as you say. He's not at Nicho's or McKenzies level, that's for sure ;) and he gets more of it than those two blokes.

But Cross wasn't delisted because he wasn't getting games.

Lower was injured for the last part of the year hence why he wasn't able to get ahead of a few young blokes and Cross was delisted because blokes like Lower were getting games ahead of him.

In saying that, I believe Cross would be 100 times more beneficial to you than Lower would. The leadership and professionalism that Crossy brings to a club is outstanding. The standards he will set at training is second to none and will show your young players the standard that NEEDS to be set.

With Cross all but confirmed we're down to 3 vacancies on the senior list.

We must use 3 picks (including rookies) in the ND so if we plan to use PSD2 then someone else must go now it appears.

Reckon clisby might get a second year on rookie list with an upgrade next year on performance

Magner maybe the chop

Pick 9 on freeman if available

Next 2 picks on mids
