Opinion 2013 Member Survey

I'm sure many off you like myself got the member survey emailed today. I actually took the time to fill it out as I thought the answers to alot of the questions were quite valuable to the club.
A couple of things that struck me was yje amount of questions in the survey. ie-

1- when, why and how we renewed our memberships
2- if you wre happy with the board, players and admin
3- also the pointed questions about how many children you have
4- if you'd recommend a Freo membership to other people
5- is your membership good value for money

They clearly do projected budgeting from these surveys and I would encourage everyone to take part. It's also a chance to give them a pat on the back or a whack for the way some things are done.

I for one scored them highly on the admin, board and footy dept side of things but also let them know that I sensed a change Freo's traditional inclusive working class history. It's only 1 members opinion and of course I'm all for success but let's not turn into a club that takes it's members for grated ala WC.

As I say this is only my opinion and my survey was 80% positive with an air caution. It's an easy multiple choice survey so do the club a favour and give them some feedback.

5. The Adelaide membership is about $100 for 1 game, while the Melbourne price is $140 for 4 games. I would like them to include one Adelaide game and 1-2 other games should you make it in general admin.

Also just wondering which Cheer Squad attends the Adelaide game, Seppo - do you head to SA?

PS - I am wondering how many non vic\wa members have signed to the new memberships begin available. I am very glad that Fremantle have provided an option for us outside of Vic and WA to support them and attend a game.

Yep all games outside WA is handled by our mob. I'll more than likely be driving over for the game against Port.

Got the email yesterday, completed the survey during afternoon tea.

It got a significantly more positive response than the one that came after the club changed it's "image" in 2010.

can you get a Vic membership if you live in SA? got a purple army membership ATM but i will be traveling to atleast 4 games in Vic in 2014

I've been dubious about Freo survey's since the survey that resulted in the radical change that caused so much angst & fighting amongst fans. However this survey gave more options for comments as well as a wider range of answers to multiple choice questions. Like Clarke 2 Fyfe, I was predominately positive with a note of caution also. Although after surviving 2009/10 only death would part us.

You will need to give the membership team a call\email, as I don't think you will be able to do an upgrade online.

There is no reason you can not select Vic membership, if you are based in SA.

gave them a call Friday and upgraded to a Vic membership and also Vic Cheersquad, bring on 2014 footy season already
