Lame Kiffin fired as Trojans HC :D

well with how improved the Dallas D is, its hard to disagree with those who believe they fired the wrong Kiffen. Never should of got or even taken the job should of gone with Tennessee they would of put up with his antics and under-achieving. after the Beatdown by UCLA last year im surprised they didn't fire him then.

With how good Mora Jr has been for UCLA it was only a matter of time. Trojan fans and high ups wont stand for being the "Other" team in LA

Pendergast's done well with the defense. Until today, of course :p Is a ten-point loss a beat down? UCLA beat USC 38-28. A beat-down is 2011. When we won 50-0.

Rumour has it that they asked Pete Carroll on his way out who he'd choose between Sarkisian and Kiffin. I guess he picked wrong, but you wonder if Pat Haden might be feeling Sark out this afternoon. He's done a good job at Washington, but I don't know how elite that program can become.

Looking forward to Washington and Stanford, going to be a cracking match. Washington are sneaky good and top 10 material.

Also lulz at kiffin.

That may be the only thing that keeps Sarkisian in the Pacific NW if Pat Haden gives him a call. Rather, if they can legitimately take the next step to Pac-12 contenders.

Great to see the game day boys are coming to Northwestern - the people over at lake the posts have been chasing them for a while now http://www.laketheposts.com

Should be a terrific game against the Buckeyes and we should see where sit in Big 10 after this one.

We know where the big10 is, and its where more than a handful of 1 loss teams will be more deserving of a BCS Title shot than a big10 team. Much like Louisville in the AAC, Big10 teams suffer from a shit conference and even worse OoC games. Ohio State needed style points yesterday and will need them in games against Northwestern and Michigan along with Huge scores to deserve a top 2 ranking by years end.

at years end unless Ohio State win out and have huge wins against Michigan and NW, i think a 1 loss Clemson, Stanford, Georgia, Oregon, Alabama, LSU. and maybe even Florida State and UCLA should be ranked above them.

But then again its the last year of the BCS system so they will likely go out with a bomb by putting a undeserving team in the NCG because how else could they F**k it up more?

Deservedly so prior to this week. Struggled against UWV and beat an average Notre Dame team... They are now 11th and I would struggle to put them above any other team.. infact I would have UCLA above them.

I would of thought Jack Del Rio was the bleeding obvious choice. Only thing really stopping it is that he might want to stay in the pros and the Broncos look like going deep into the playoffs.

I agree but if a team like Kansas State can be undefeated and ranked 1, Ohio State can. After-all its Ohio State and even though I agree with you to an extent, I don't think a 1-lost Clemson or LSU would be ranked ahead of shit state who keeps winning rather than flogging teams.

No, Haden wants someone with college head coaching experience. He's said that.

Been a great coach but it appears Mack Brown's time in Texas is up, Nick Saban supporters are circling. #Horns

The Stanford/Washington game is huge for Washington since they host the Ducks next week, for Washington this could be the toughest 2 weeks for any team in the country playing two top 5 teams back to back.

And going back to gameday from lastnight i have to agree with Desmond and afew others that Ohio state need to win huge because they are in the big10 and nobody respects or is scared of the Big10 and that Stanford should be 3rd [If we win today we should jump]

and if Ohio State win today like they did last week the nation will just think "Yeah but its just Northwestern, and the Big10"

also interesting that Northwestern is the highest ranked team Ohio State have faced in the 17 game win streak. which explained a lot
