Rice hasn't been playing well and comes up against a good run defence in the Packers, and Flacco well who knows what he will do.

This years Ravens aren't that good either.

Rice hasn't been great because our OL sucks, Monroe will help a lot. He def has some issues with fumebling though, . I don't necessarily think we'll win however. Should be a good game

Not sure on that. It would be about half as much as the others.

Tho, the Raiders OL is god awful, so that's a pretty good effort considering that. Eg, Flynn in that same pocket was god awful.

Pass rush is a different beast though, just by virtue of being able to escape the pocket. Players start playing contain on the pass rush, or spying.

Unless it's Vick. In which case he'll stand in a perfectly good pocket and decide it's time to break the pocket directly into a sack.

Well, you know all the sayings about stats.
I'm certainly not suggesting Pryor is a better pocket passer than those compared. Just posting it as it's 'interesting'.

Perhaps a better stat from the day is that Pryor's QB Rating for that game was the highest by a Raider QB since Rich Gannon in his MVP year (2002).

Josh Gordon to the Falcons??

A Falcons source tells the National Football Post's Jason Cole that Julio Jones (foot) "broke the screw that was put in his foot in his 2011 surgery."

We're not doctors, but it can't be good news that Jones' injury is (reportedly) related to the foot operation that clouded his pre-draft status in 2011. It would complicate any further surgery, and have the makings of a chronic issue. Jones is receiving a second opinion on Wednesday, where hopefully we'll learn more. Nothing will be for certain until/if Jones lands on injured reserve, but things are not looking good.

I'm pretty sure this sums up how Falcons fans are feeling right now.

Meanwhile....

Sources tell SportsRadio 610 in Houston that Texans "fans" confronted Matt Schaub at his home Tuesday night.

Schaub has thrown a pick-six in an NFL record four straight games as the Texans have sunk to 2-3. "A fan went to his house and told him off," a source said. Another person reportedly took pictures of Schaub's family and posted them on Facebook. The fans -- who have gone way past the line here -- left before police could respond. The Texans, NFL Security and the Houston Police Department are all looking into the matter.

Would have to be up there in a 'seasons of hell' list from recent memory.
Meh. Trying losing your GM, HC & OC, his assistant & DC and half your D starters (suspension & injury) before the season even starts!

This is a typical Atlanta Falcons season. No need to feel sorry for them.

Josh Gordon to the Falcons??
Knowing the Falcons and the sideshow that's a football team . . . TO or Chad <insert latest surname> could be getting a call...

Former Colts GM Bill Polian called Terrelle Pryor the most improved player in the NFL he's seen this season.

We couldn't agree more. Unfairly labeled as a Tim Tebow type, Pryor currently ranks fifth in the NFL in completion percentage (68.3), sixth in YPA (8.13) and eighth in passer rating (97.6). He's also rushing for 57.2 yards per game and is 2-2 in his four starts. Showing more and more as a passer each week, Pryor has gobs of upside as both a fantasy player and a potential long-term quarterback for the Raiders.

Best games imo...

Carolina at Minnesota (think this will be exciting, newton going off)

Detroit at Cleveland (fascinating battle and will the streak go to 4)

Oakland at Kansas City (should be a corker)

Jacksonville at Denver (for the upset.....for the rest of their lives people will remember where they were and what they were doing when jacksonville upset the broncos)

Tennessee at Seattle (close defensive game)

We are a much different side at home with our 2 games being 45-17 and 29-3. Seattle will win comfortable at home V the Titans.

I'm avoiding the Denver game like the plague as if there is an upset I'll be the sole survivor. If anyone wants to know the sure thing this week just pm me :)

You barrack for the Seahawks? I'm surprised you don't barrack for St.Louis, Arizona, or Oakland.

I like the thinking Larks but gee has there ever been a team who has been a 27.5pt favourite get rolled EVER!! That is a massive start for the Jags and the biggest i have ever seen.

You need an offense though to beat Peyton and there is no way the Jags can put up 50+ as that is what they will need unless Peyton does his knee in the first 2 mins or something.

Broncos win this in a canter i reckon 52-10.
