I like the thinking Larks but gee has there ever been a team who has been a 27.5pt favourite get rolled EVER!! That is a massive start for the Jags and the biggest i have ever seen.

You need an offense though to beat Peyton and there is no way the Jags can put up 50+ as that is what they will need unless Peyton does his knee in the first 2 mins or something.

Broncos win this in a canter i reckon 52-10.

It's the biggest line in NFL history IIRC

Yeah i would think so and i have been following the NFL since i was 13 years old and am now 35 and i have never seen such a big underdog since betting has been available.

Pass rush is a different beast though, just by virtue of being able to escape the pocket. Players start playing contain on the pass rush, or spying.

Unless it's Vick. In which case he'll stand in a perfectly good pocket and decide it's time to break the pocket directly into a sack.

Well done STKO, sums up dog-killers approach in one easy sentence...

Everything is too perfect for the Broncos.
Nothing is ever perfect in the NFL.
Gee they look good. Even money to win the AFC championship. Only very good sides are that short this early.

Hopefully it is my Seahawks they meet in the Superbowl. Still not over the Steelers and shocking refs in our last Super Bowl.

The Broncos aren't perfect. Romo was walking all over their defense.

I know Romo has been praised for his efforts but the Cowboys have been lacklustre most of the time.

Alarm bells are ringing when any team scores nearly 50 on you, it's besides the point that the Broncos can score 50+ and still win.

I'm not sure who I'll be tipping between Indianapolis and Denver @ Lucas Oil. The Colts D has improved tremendously this season and Luck is the NFL's next superstar leading a very good O. He's going to put points up on the Broncos D. The question remains, can the Colts D hold the Broncos O to a small enough score to allow Luck to win them the game?

I'd take the jags if I was a betting man (note: I am a betting man)

also had this discussion with a mate, what do you guys think a 27 point line in the NFL would be equivalent to in the AFL? 100-120 pts?

Henne is starting, he gives them hope of offensive production.

Blackmon back. Blackmon and Shorts will be hard to contain.

Jaguars starting to get some defensive pressure, qb hits, sacks, last game.

At the very least, the Jags will beat the spread, not 'just' but by half or less.

It's not just that but people are prone to mistakes, like all it takes is the WR to run a bad route and Peyton to throw a pick or Knowshon/ Ball/ Hillman fumble the ball returned for a TD etc etc

You guys are ridiculous.

Woodyard, Ayers and Harris all went out of the game fairly early on top of Von and Champ already being out.

That game on the weekend would have brought everyone back down to earth I fully expect the team to come out firing.

I'd also like to remind everyone that GG declared Raiders would upset Denver too.

Safest game this week (beyond the obvious) will be the Eagles-Buccaneers game.

Eagles are not stopping Martin while the front 7 of the Buccaneers will shut down the Eagles running game, putting them on tough down and distances. Making it incredibly hard for them to move the ball.

Champ will play this week too.

Not saying it will be 4TDs but its almost like you guys are avoiding the game simply because the line is so massive. If the line was say 15 you'd all be on board Denver because it wouldn't have the makings of the biggest upset in recent memory
