Generally they'll allow you to use your hands to maintain separation provided you don't push the defender.KT may have slightly got away with a little push, but it's balanced by Stills'
I thought both were fine.

If that's the case Jeff, Dobson was shafted on the big pick up OPI he was called for. The problem with PI is the application of subjectivity. There is no consistent basis on which the same play is being called by the officials.Generally they'll allow you to use your hands to maintain separation provided you don't push the defender.

Dobson pushed. IIRC he didn't maintain separation - he gained separation by pushing. (I'll watch it again)If that's the case Jeff, Dobson was shafted on the big pick up OPI he was called for. Dobson did not push off. He barely used any leverage against the DB.Dobson pushed. IIRC he didn't maintain separation - he gained separation by pushing. (I'll watch it again)
Of course it's going to be subjective but I reckon the officials (generally) are more consistent now than they were in recent seasons.
It is ok to put your hands on a defender. Just don't push. On the 2 TD's, they probably pushed but they didn't 'push' the defender off his run (you only can do that when you're pushing in the opposite direction to your momentum).
If you want to talk inconsistency, the "unnecessary roughness" penalty would have to be #1 on the list.
Rams won the turnover count 4-0, and returned two of the takeaways for a score (one of which was a 98 yard Pick 6). That was the story of the game having watched a fair bit of it live, Texans kept screwing up and Rams didn't let the chances go to waste.Looking at all the stats and the news from the Rams/ Texans game
Guessing Kubick possibly has coached his last game. Just shocked how Foster can run for 7 yards a carry and they still lose.
heck.

Only following the game on gamecast, but could there be a bigger contrast to last week's Broncos-Cowboys' game? Not even 200 yards through the air combined in the first half so far.
Knee's down I think.
What happened then?
