He doesn't seem to think he has done anything wrong either...

Interesting on twitter several journos involved in athletics said if that was a runner admitting that instant banning or withdrawal from competing.. surely the AFL will be under some pressure to act quickly

He should not be allowed to compete.

Being under investigation is one thing, but to publicly admit to being guilty is an entire different ball game.

This should be seen as him hanging himself out to dry.

If the AFL dont act on this they will lose what little credibility they have left.

It's interesting he would be so open and not seem concerned at all.... surely the media people at the Bombers told him what he could and couldn't say...

So either they know they are stuffed and getting in first, or they think they are all clear...

So the AFL wont be issuing a statement regarding Jobe's comments? Aren't they the leaders and custodians of our game and aren't we the stakeholders?? Perhaps they are too busy rushing over to Kia headquarters to placate/fellate them again. I cant express enough the utter contempt and disgust I have for that organisation.

They are too busy making sure if you touch someone 10mm above the shoulders you get rubbed out... illegal substances are clearly a minor issue

I heard today that Andy is on holidays. Seems like the AFL can't function without him.

Although why (again) he is taking holidays during the season is a mystery.

Eagles fans getting stuck into Jobe.....BT and the muppet crew up in arms, personally I think it's a massive sign that the general public have simply had enough of this whole saga.
And his fault or not a brownlow medalist has admitted to being injected with a prohibited substance and is still playing... how else was the crowd going to react?

the fact that i noticed the booo's on the first possession but bt and knobs didnt mention it til they got some tweets about it in the 3rd.

wasnt the substance banned by asda but not by wada? or something along those lines.

WADA have said it's definitely not legal... ASADA haven't said squat, the ACC put in that report on drugs in sport that it was not on the prohibited substance list (or words to that effect)

Tough situation but I reckon the eagles fans (and other teams fans to come) should keep it in their pants until it's concluded. If the AFL sweep it under the carpet, let your feelings known then.

Bet the AFL are looking forward to Milne returning after that exhibition. Negligible supplement v. serious criminal charges.

You are quite right in theory but as time goes past, and it is so slow to be resolved, and Watson makes admissions, and Bombers being turned into heroic figures in the face of adversity etc-it is a big ask of opposition fans. The AFL might find its hand is forced by the public?

I was hoping WCE to win, now we need to win the 2 hard games if not Essendon will overtake us in Top 4 spot ... They have easy draw until round 18 vs Hawthorn ...
We will end up where we deserve to be. As Lloydy said, this loss v Lions could have ramifications. We could end up playing 1st Final in Melb v Haw, or Ess, or in Perth v Freo, none of which are ideal. If we ,make top 4

it does not matter either way though, if we are to win the premiership, we have to beat whoever comes our way. Tippy toeing around certain teams will only end in disaster anyways imo.

In the last decade, only 2 teams who finished top 4 did not make it through to the preliminary final so if we finish top 4, we likely ain't getting bundled out in straight sets anyways.
