Those of you saying Fremantle have a soft draw coming up are not kidding:
GWS - PS
Melbourne - MCG (one of my favourite games of the year)
Port - PS
St Kilda - Jihad

Soft!

Could be too soft - I'd rather a couple of big hitouts on the park before finals, compared to these slap n' tickles Fremantle will enjoy.

If the Cats can apply the intense footy we saw a couple of weeks ago, I can see us take top spot, with a first final against the Swans or Hawks.

Clarko's just keeping his plan B up his sleeve and they are all so glad they lost instead of him revealing it.
Yeah...that's it!

Sneaky bugger that Clarko.

Maybe they've been training all their left-footers how to kick on their right, and we just haven't seen them do it yet?

Heaven help us all if Richmond so much as win a final though. Well, I'll be alright, but you poor buggers in Victoria might just have to take the week off and stay home.

Remember reading similar from the Hawks fans after we kept them scoreless in the last quarter in Round 15, 2011. Fast forward ten weeks, and we beat them by the greatest margin in our streak, and in a final to boot.

Doggies sticking with the Swans so far. I win to them would help our cause at least a little bit, though I can't hold out much hope of them keeping this up.

Joel Selwood on the ruck combination going forward:

"The ideal situation is to have all three fit, with West and Blicavs in the ruck, and Vardy playing mostly up forward while pinch hitting in the ruck.

When West is on his game, we're confident he can get the job done."

We are 3rd in the ladder now :(
Sydney may lose to Collingwood next week though, as poor as Collingwood been, they win today and then win that one, big opportunity for them to finish 5th and have a home final against Port.

I reckon they almost drop out of the top 4 will Sydney as they get beaten next week and then beaten by us in round 22 :)

yeh I reckon so too but the heavier this rain falls, the better the odds for Essendon to keep it closer.

Collingwood could be a flukey team from here on in, always something happens to teams who aren't talked about and fly under the radar, loving Sydney & Hawthorn being premiership favs
