So still plenty of talent left for our pick which I imagine is why the club is looking to keep our first pick (11) and use players to get Taylor Adams to the club. But if we could do a deal with GWS where they get pick 11 and Foley for Adams and pick 20, we would obviously get a potential A grader in Adams and could possibly get a slider in Dunstan (less likely to slide after recent performances) or Salem who i'm sure we would be very happy with. Now i'm not sure if we could obtain Adams and pick 20 for Foley and pick 11 but any deal similar to this would set us up very well for the future, especially if Martin signs.

Lastly one player who doesn't have much hype around him that I like a lot is Patrick Cripps. Good by foot and excellent by hand, great around stoppages though a little bit naive defensively which will improve with age and a good tackler to go with. Reminds me a lot of Josh Kennedy from Sydney and any team who picks him up will have a very good player on their hands. Thoughts tigs2010?

I think you'll find Kelly and Scharenberg swap. Pies get Taylor. Marsh I could see going early but I think it's Carlton that rate him. I personally like Cripps too.
 
TAC Cup future stars did a phantom draft before. I just missed it as I sat down. Can anyone post what there top 12 look liked?

Watching the VFL so I missed it. Usually only do a top 10 though which is shit because we don't have a pick. :p

Interesting no Taylor in the top ten, probably goes to Collingwood at 11 (assuming Daisy leaves)

If not that'd leave us Freeman, Salem, Dunstan, Taylor, Dumont, Crouch, Acres, Marsh, McCarthy to choose from (and obviously some others)

From that lot I'd probably take Freeman - something about him just excites me. But I'd be stoked with Taylor, Crouch, Dunstan or Salem. Such an even draft

Anyone like Bathie from Geelong? Been one of their few good players in the VFL Granny today but there's talk he'll be delisted.

Hope we stay away from Kersten going by today's effort.

Half of that Geelong side looked shit this afternoon. I don't get to watch much VFL but Hawthorns kids looked more hungry and a class above today.
 
The jungle drums were beating pretty loud that we were going to take Vlastuin last year. Anyone know where we sit with pick 11 if we don't trade it for Adams? Just reading some of the profiles of the draftees and this Lennon kid sounds good.

Know nothing much about Taylor except his influence would be small against Freo last night

Since December last year the mail had been that we are very keen on Salem.

Dunstan is the slightly underated/great leadership capabilities player much the same as Vlastuin from this years draft FWIW
 
Where is Lennon likely to go in this draft and if he were to last to our pick would we still pick Salem?

Anyone have vision of either of the 2?

I like the fact that Lennon sounds like he's extremely versatile.
 
I wouldn't mind a small forward crumbing type, who is really fast on their feet and can run, snap goals and change direction in an instant (Rioli, Walters, Garlett type). He could play full time forward and just sit at the feet of vickery, jack and mcbean. A real excitement machine, think Jake Neade from last year.

Are there any of that sort of player in this years draft we could get?

Wilson/Impey, Impey is my preference - more complete

I'm actually hoping now that we land Salem over Freeman - just thinking he and Ellis would sort out our wings for 10 years.

yer, i'd look them all up but wouldn't know where to start, usually if i find out who they play like i go from there

Not even sure if they are online yet. Anyone help with that? I just tried googling a few and couldn't find any vids yet
