Trade for what then?
Who do we trade out to do it?
As far as I'm aware all bar Nahas Derickx & Helbig are contracted at this stage. Si unless we can force someone out who doesn't really want to go there isn't much trading we can do.

Really? When did I miss the O'hanlon and Arnot extensions?

Hey _RT_ Can you do the number on Lewis Taylor?

I think he could be great for our team. Match winner, fast and skillful but he's a strong contested ball winner which should make him more consistent than other players of his type like Rioli etc

Arnot was talking about looking forward to 2014 in his video review so I doubt he and the club would have done that without him being contracted for next year. Also Hardwick mentioned O'Hanlon in his B&F speech as someone who needed to improve if we're to improve again I doubt that would happen if he too was gone.

Will do later on.

Sorry, I just re read RT's post which said just that:oops:

Forgiven ! :thumbsu:
Acres/Bontempelli would be very exciting prospects of which could develop ala Pendelbury style, Freeman appears destined to be selected by Collingwood, with some good development he will become a great big inside midfielder with a turn of explosiveness. Salem looks destined to us which does not have me as excited as if we took a leap of faith and trusted our development further and tried to take Acres/Bontempelli, albeit Salem is a good solid pickup he just doesn't have the same ceiling as Acres/Bontempelli as it appears to me.

Love that from a player who plays predominately outside. Starting to really like this kid. Also like Lennons stats though he plays a bit to fast for my liking, though that is something that can be easily worked on.

kinda just hope somebody else takes him (salem) before we use our pick on him, anyone know which other clubs have shown interest or look likely?

Strengths:

Very athletic, crafty and very versatile. Has terrific burn of pace, finds a lot of the ball and links up extremely well, involving himself in scoring chains. His tenacity and ferocity at the ball is a standout trait, very much a born competitor. Breaks the lines with his pace, and burns opponents if given too much room. Has a long raking left boot, which more often than not propels his side into attack. Very good leap and overhead mark, excellent aerial ability, elite kick and a brilliant reader of the play, can be used in an array of posisitions, would be best suited to half back or up on a wing.

Weaknesses:

Kolodjashnij earns a lot of his posessions unconstested, and is very much an outside player. Doesn’t like to be isolated in a one on one contest, very much the offensive half backer type with a thin(ish) build.
