TFLUA-Tiger tigs2010 Toadvine Tigerbob thoughts on Holman from the Bushies, reckon he could be a nice pick at 50
He was one I talked about ages ago after his game against NT. Was very good. Not sold on his kicking though otherwise everything else about him is very good for a potential late pick.

As a small fwd, what about Orazio Fantasia?

I've always seen him more as a small mid than a small forward. As has been said (I think by you?) Dimma doesn't want small mids.

Just on these small forwards. I left out one of my favourites in Alex Saunders from Gippy Power.

Yes that is true. I tend to suspect most small forwards start their lives as small mids, though. Just hadn't seen his name before and saw some footage that was complimentary.

He can definitely play. Though he's probably not the type I'd go for. I reckon he'll become one of those absolute star players in the state leagues.

True, but you never know, maybe he just needs to be at a good club ;)

looking at the write up has a lot in his favour:thumbsu:

Main thing for RFC is a bit of athletic size in the backline might work

Worse case scenario might be worth a rookie pick. Surely worth a look anyway

Thinking along the lines of
12. Acres/Bontempelli - tall midfielder
50. Holman - midfielder
68. J.Kolodashnij - 3rd tall defender
86. Pass for PSD or Petterd upgrade

I like it, in a draft full of short arse mids we add 2 tall ones. We only have 4 list spots so it would be either PSD or Petterd. Hopefully the former.

Time for some Rioli magic again, with some heavy fitness regime put into him. He could be that magic we have missed since Maurice & Michael Mitchell donned the yellow & black.

Gonna have to be some serious fitness regime. From day dot he's got to turn dat fat into muscle.

There has been talk about getting inside mids throughout various threads. I'm curious to know peoples thoughts on Arnot and Helbig filling that role in the future?

Does our stand alone VFL team (i.e., fast tracked development) increase their chances??

With Arnot on our side, we don't need Crouch. We need precise foot skills, height and line breaking.

Arnot should. Helbig, well Helbig needs a good run with injury to have a chance. He could though if he can avoid another serious injury.
