What do the our draft experts think of that and how he will suit Richmond?

Hartung will please the crowd who think Richmond is too slow and needs another outside runner. I'd like to see his inside game develop a bit more, but if Richmond is able to recruit Adams and keep the 19th pick, then Hartung makes a lot of sense, a nice inside outside balance.

Do people think that Adams + 19 for Foley + 11 is doable? Seems fairly good for Richmond, although I doubt Foley will be happy, and I don't know whether it will hurt Richmond's culture, given Foley has been a loyal tiger. No-one would let Richmond trade say King or Newman, yet Foley has been as important as these guys.

Mitch Thorpe - seems to have pulled his head in and has dominated this year at state level. Could be the CHF that we have needed. Any chance of jagging him late in the draft? Any whispers about who is talking to him?

Also the Eastern Ranges captain, i cant remember his name though. May slide out to our pick. Would be a very handy midfield acquisition

78 goals for the year. Someone may have a look at him but doubt if we will. .

Ben Cavarra. I don't think he's something that we need. Not a great kick, but excellent inside work and tackling. Melbourne could use him.

We probably won't end up with a pick high enough but does anyone else feel Jono Marsh would be a good addition to our forward line? He's quick enough to play as that 4th tall in the forward line like a Gunston at Hawthorn but could also develop his game to play up on a wing to add to rotations. If we cop an injury or 2 he could slide on over to the Azza Edwards 3rd tall role.

Something about Marsh is really appealing to me. Maybe it's the Rockliff/Fyfe factor. I can see him developing into a winger at AFL level

Yeh I like him more as a midfielder. But even as a medium forward as he's not a genuine 1st/2nd KPF.

Dimma loves tall mids. We picked up Mcintosh last year who stands 192 to play on a wing so wouldn't suprise me if we were looking to do the same again with our second pick. I was reading that he played most of his junior footy as a mid befre playing pretty much at CHF all year this year.
Knightmare has him going as late as pick 32 I think. Would take him in a heart beat if still available at our 2nd pick. I'm pretty sure he won't last this long, but won't go top 10 imo. With so many good mids in the first 20-25 we might get lucky..........but probably not this lucky:(

Marsh will probably fall somewhere between Richmond's first and second picks, I'm guessing. If Richmond downgrades their pick to 20, he might be a good guy to look at, his pace and height is an unusual combination of traits. Has a habit of dividing opinion, I don't know what to think about him, give it's hard to know where he will play.

Agree he will go between our first and second. Or is it before our 1st pick once we give up pick 11 for Adams? :p

What's wrong with Thorpe for a low pick? Looks to have matured enormously. His aerobic capacity would mean he could fill chf, and allow Jack and Ty to play deep. We have a good record with Tasmanian key forwards. I think for the right price we should give him a shot. Has anyone seen him play this year?

He just coached a side to a state league premiership at 24. That must suggest he has some leadership capabilities
Yep... read a couple of interviews in the last couple of months, and he seems to have matured. I think his failed first stint has served as the perfect wake up call. Wouldn't be against it, and considering we (apparently) consider this draft a little thin, I think we should be having a look from around 3rd round.

Surely Dimma knows enough about Thorpe to determine whether we pick him up or not?

My only concern is he just puts a line through him without seeing if he's changed.
