Does any know who they have us taking at 12 in the Inside Footy phantom that came out today?

Apparently they have Salem at 6 and McCarthy at 7.

Scharenberg won't be there and Crouch should be a last resort. Way too many good players in the top 12 to go picking him.

Seems to be a growing feeling that Salem won't be there either. Is it Dee's and Pies who are both keen (picks 9 & 10 respectively). Would suit the Lions too, I'd imagine.

He is Exactly the type that we need , Now that the expectation is even ever so slightly here - Dissapointment will be so much worse when he is not

I doubt he'd be there though, wouldn't you rather a fwd/mid with some pace? Seems to be the thing we lack. A Karpany or Wilson at this pick would be delicious. Pick 68 I'm unsure if we'll use but if we do Joel Tippett I wouldn't be against at all, I think St.Kilda should be all over him though.

Probably not but as I said it's my wish list. Almost certain that we will get Salem anyway, but reading the reports about how the recruiters think the draft will pan out, you just never know.

Sounds like if Collingwood want Bontempelli and Salem (which they do) they'll have to the pull the trigger of Salem at 6. Also a bit of rumour McCarthy is going to be a top 10 selection. Its good news for us (bad news for my Acres crush), means most likely Scharenberg will slip to 12.

Sounds like Lennon might be a bit out of favour too after his really poor showing at the combine.

Have you heard anything about Lennon? Reading his quigley's analysis and his horrible combine made me wonder where he will fall. He really isn't as linked as strongly as most to any club.

Yeah, Scharenberg would be one. Pretty much most of the guys you wouldn't expect to be there I guess.

tbh i havent heard much about Scharenberg.
What sort of player is he?
The only players ive been paying attention to is Salem and Acers.
Surley if we did end up with Scharenberg his nick name would have to be "Shazza"

Would they take both he and Berger being similar size players ?
