I still think that, at 50, provided he is available, we should take Wilson. Those might be fanciful, but a draft haul of:
12: one of Scharenberg, Sheed, Freeman, Lennon, Salem (in that order).
50: Dwayne Wilson
66: Darcy Cameron
Any thoughts on this draft haul?
I prefer Lloyd and I think he will be that choice at 66. I can't see us taking Wilson there like Anderson has, due to his lack of work ethic. Not something we tend to overlook.
DBJ at 50 would be a dream. Someone might need to check on _kp_ though and make sure he's ok![]()

Lloyd seems handy and at an age that he could still make a significant impact. Where do you think he would sit in our lineup? Could he edge out King? Would he start in front of McDonough? I feel like 2014 will be King's last year anyway, lucky to play 12+ games. McDonough will hopefully play 12+. But if we can build a little bit more depth in that area it will set us on the right path. We haven't had a dominant small forward in sooooo long.

Lloyd is ready to go. I'd like to think he's an upgrade on King and would push him out but who knows with Kingy?
a) he won't give it up easy and
b) Dimma loves him.
With McDonough I think they can both co-exist provided McDonough gets his midfield game up to afl standard. Lloyd is a Jamie Elliot type IMO so he's more a forward but can push high up the ground on the lead.
He'd be a great get at 66 in a weak draft for a side like ours who lack forward class.
Your missing the point again. I have no issue with afl.com at all as I understand it is a marketing exercise only and not meant as a recruiting tool for bigfooty users who cant admit they have an ill informed opinion. I admit I don't know who the best players are but a smart person admits when he doesn't know something.
. To me, afl.com.au is a supportive information tool for fans of the game to help enjoy the game. I will watch AFL regardless of the website, but the website just makes it more informative and fulfilling as a result when relevant info is available to stakeholders of the game including fans. You do realise the AFL don't film most junior games. The majority of the footage they show on the RFC web site tonight will have been filmed by the club at its own expense . Why the **** would they make it available to the wider public.Actually , can't see afl.com.au as a marketing tool whatsoever, Whatever they are selling I am not buying. BTW it is not about knowing something or not, it is about getting involved in the game to make it more enjoyable as an experience through understanding. If everybody knows next to nothing why would one even have a footy conversation at a bar as an example? it would be pointless, if no one cares about how their club do this and that, why do they pay membership, and why do they even follow the club and or game?? IMO the more the AFL and clubs empower fans with information the more the fans will be prepared to support the clubs and game itself!!

Just a wish.Great effort MR.
Any mail on Conway? Just a wish?

I presume you guys saw the herald sun's mock draft today, which had collingwood taking aish and lennon with picks 6 and 10 and us consequently taking zak jones at 12....

That's marketing my friend.
.This is where IMO if we did pick up Jones we really should be trading down. For me the whole point of pick 12 is if you don't get Lennon, Salem , Freeman or whoever within reason allowing for reasonable differences of opinion you pick up the likes of Sheed or whoever.
But if we are so consistently against the grain with our selections in relation to the general consensus we would have been better off trading down like pick 20 and 27 for pick 12. That way you still get Jones or close equivalent and get another handy player
